Confused
00100001 · 25/11/2017 21:33

Once I have my answer @MNHQ please do delete the thread, as it will have served its purpose?

OP posts:
StatueInTheSky · 25/11/2017 21:39

deletions here are a joke, it seems to me

post and be damned I say!

RunningOutOfCharge · 25/11/2017 22:25

Any idea what the thread was about?

MrsRyanGosling15 · 25/11/2017 22:26

That is a random one.

AmysTiara · 25/11/2017 22:30

Wasnt this a begging thread requesting chocolates or something similar?

If so I assume some gullible poster sent her what was asked for. Shock

Ninjakittysmells · 25/11/2017 22:30

Eh?! What on earth was the thread about?!

rollingonariver · 25/11/2017 22:33

Hmmmm

paxillin · 26/11/2017 14:41

Extra suspicious on a begging thread, makes it sound as if they are successful on MN.

Ninjakittysmells · 26/11/2017 15:00

This one doesn’t even pretend it’s for a reason - just says it’s been deleted on behalf of the op.

T’is getting just a bit farcial now!

So now we can get threads deleted, because they have served their purpose????

I've noticed over the last year or so that reasons for deletion have often been very flimsy and not at all in line with what MNHQ states in TGs.

Any chance of re-writing that bit in TG so that it accurately reflects this new way of handling deletions?

00100001 · 26/11/2017 22:24

MN TGs

  1. We decide on impulse whether to delete a post.
OP posts:
Butterymuffin · 26/11/2017 22:26

I see. So it's delete on demand now.

WillowWeeping · 26/11/2017 22:28

On any given day 50% of my threads I’m on looks like this Hmm

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 22:28

Really ? Hmm

SparklyMagpie · 26/11/2017 22:30

Oh FGS all getting abit silly now

BeyondAssignation · 26/11/2017 22:31

Can we just have our own delete button now, would save a lot of emails

paxillin · 26/11/2017 22:32

To be fair, Hmm is my resting face.

WhatCanIDoNowPlease · 26/11/2017 23:01

The 'on behalf of the op' picture above was the concert goer whose sister and friends left her to get the train home alone while they drove.

Venusflytwat · 26/11/2017 23:03

It’s fucking ridiculous at the moment. There’s no point in posting on half these threads.

BatteredBreadedOrSouthernFried · 26/11/2017 23:06

MNHQ are notoriously inconsistent with deletions. From really horrendous stuff they will let stand to ridiculous cop out deletion messages for OPs who didn’t get “aww hugs hun” responses and went crying to miss.

MTverystressed · 26/11/2017 23:06

I thought it might have been a joke by MNHQ...

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 26/11/2017 23:07

That’s farcical.

NamasteNiki · 26/11/2017 23:09

If people start a thread they dont want to hang around why dont they just post in 30 days only?
