Could DC's ages appear at top of each post?

Hi, since we seem to spend a lot of time asking each other how old DC are in order to give advice or comment I thought it would be a good idea if their ages could appear on the same line as our username at the top of each post. It could be linked to the DC's info in our reg. details and updated automatically each month. I emailed mumsnet about it and they are going to discuss it at the next meeting. Does anyone else think it's a good idea?

Perhaps we could reconsider the ticker idea ? That way the ages would be exact to the milisecond ?

No, it is hardly a stretch to type your childs age if you need to.

lurkylou · 13/02/2007 11:06

and there we all were 'pretending' we cared about each other's problems and icod puts everyone in their place with

"no one cares abotu other peopeles kids
booooooooooooooooooooooooring"

Classic!!!

malaleche · 13/02/2007 11:09

Ok OK forget it I honestly thought it would save some time, especially when one-handed typing and feeding baby...

I do agree with icod about most babies being boring ultimately!!

The next time you gaze at a cute baby just remind yourself that after 20 yrs it will probably just be another boring bank clerk!!!

AngharadGoldenhand · 13/02/2007 11:11

No.

itsmeNDP · 13/02/2007 11:25

mala, most people do put their kids ages into posts anyway.

HandyTrinkett · 13/02/2007 11:27

wouldn't have thought they'd do that from a coding point of view.. ..yet another join and so a more costly query and a slower mumsnet..
