Stupid Question about Highlighting Op's Names

This may be so obvious I am going to hide my face in shame when I find out the answer but ...... How do you highlight other people's usernames when referring to them in a post. I've tried the obvious way of hitting the Bold button but that doesn't seem to work? Is there something I'm missing?

Put around the words

So for me it would be Anchor but without the spaces (so it'd look like Anchor)
