Can we have a temporary topic for the EU referendum?

Please? Smile

I've seen a few threads in Politics and some in Chat, maybe there are others that I haven't found yet.

There are many different aspects to the discussion so it would be great to have debate and links to useful info etc all in one place!

good idea.....but no one will use it.
look at the fb topic

Hmm.. would have thought the referendum would have much broader interest than a topic on FB? The hardest thing is finding stuff on MN these days, but I'm sure HQ could find a way to make a topic like this quite prominent?

I think it's a good idea and would use it Smile

MNHQ sometimes take a more active role in moving threads into the topic (for example during the Ebola outbreak). It could be done for this if the number of threads started meant corralling them all together would be a good thing.

Then they might like to think about gently extending 'move it in to the topic' more generally?

(either that or cull the number of topics)

Can we have an answer HQ?

Or do I need to get a minimum number of signatures? Grin

Def a good idea. As the date gets nearer, there will be plenty of threads clogging up Chat and AIBU.

Hullo all - many thanks for the suggestion. We can understand why this is a good idea, so here is your shiny new EU Referendum 2016 topic.

Thank you Becca Smile
