Every time I post on a thread it seems to be added to my Watch list

How did this happen, Oh I see a watch this thread ticker, have unticked that.

Same here, very unsettling. Unticking the ticker hasn't worked for me though :(

Yes and it's very annoying as now my email inbox is full of alerts that someone else has posted on the threads I've 'watched'.

But... If you change on customise you lose the option to mark your and OPs posts in different colours, if you tick 'don't watch' on the thread then I think you keep the custom colours. I've had an insomniac night and been looking at this!

I couldn't change it back. It's a pain!

And on my 'I'm On' page there are loads of posts showing for each thread instead of the 5 or so there was before!!

I've unticked it and now my posts aren't a different colour any more!

And now that I've played with removing the 'put in watch' thingy, the colours ahve come back but different.

I do know though that I have the email notifications unchecked and that seems to be OK.

where do I change the colours back? I can't find the options any more........

I'm on the main thread in Site Stuff, tis stickied & it appears that there is no way of getting your colours back at the moment. Lots of posters unhappy. MNHQ said that they have a clear out of customise options & it looks as though the colours have gone :(

I just put my options to watch back on and no colours back.

And I think it has dropped me down to 20 posts a page without me telling it too.

This is the worst thing to happen to me since I dropped my ice-cream on the pavement on holiday in Guernsey when I was 6

Why the hell do mn think anyone wants to automatically watch every thread they click into?

Just reported my post where I say you can turn it off, as people will turn it off without realising they are losing colours. I'm misleading people.

This is really shit.

Now my posts are the same colour as everybody elses, I keep reading them by accident, and they are really fucking boring

Ugh. This should be opt-in, not opt-out. Every time I post on a thread I have to go and remove it from my watch list.
