Every time I post on a thread it seems to be added to my Watch list

Same here and it's driving me crazy.

The only time I watch a thread is when I don't want to post on it but still want to keep track of it iyswim so it seems a bit pointless to me.

I'm not happy. I use the watch this thread very infrequently for stuff I might want to find in a few years. I'm not going to remember to untick every time. I don't want to lose my colours. What's going on?

There's no need to automatically add people to the watch list when they post, as you can see which threads you've posted in via the "I'm On" link.

It's just duplicating stuff for no reason.

Just reported my post where I say you can turn it off, as people will turn it off without realising they are losing colours. I'm misleading people.

I just put my options to watch back on and no colours back.

And I think it has dropped me down to 20 posts a page without me telling it too.

I'm on the main thread in Site Stuff, tis stickied & it appears that there is no way of getting your colours back at the moment. Lots of posters unhappy. MNHQ said that they have a clear out of customise options & it looks as though the colours have gone :(

Me too.
And now that I've played with removing the 'put in watch' thingy, the colours ahve come back but different.

I do know though that I have the email notifications unchecked and that seems to be OK.
