Is anyone else having big problems with MN on an ipad!?

It is constantly closing the page...I can't get further the 2 pages without it happening! Not happening on any other sites!

I get some guff about parsing about every second page - yes

And keep getting logged out (though someone has already posted on this in Site Stuff)

I thought ipad was on its last legs!

First off, we're really, really sorry that some of you are having problems with the site. We DO know how frustrating this is.

There are a couple of other threads about this issue over in Site Stuff - you can take a look at the main one here.

This is the latest update from our Tech folk:

"Hi all. Thank you for all your feedback. It's clear from the plethora of complaints on the internet that this is a bug in Safari/webkit on iOS and not exclusively affecting MN. However, we are working on systematically isolating the element on MN pages that is triggering this bug. As soon as we have found it, I will post again here and let you know the plan. Thanks for your patience."

We're going to move this thread over to Site Stuff too - we constantly look in on threads in that topic, so any queries you have are more likely to be seen there.

But it does seem to only effect MN
everything else I do on iPad is fine! it's just MN that shuts down, grrrr
