MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

I'm on Safari iPad. It started last night and early this evening but not happened since 10pm.

I will check in again at 11.20 and take the late night for the team ??

mine seems to stopped crashing in last 10 mins or so...

Hi everyone - Tech has done a fix for the slow-ness issue.

If MN is crashing your browser, they have recommended you update your browsers to the most recent version.

If anyone finds they're still having trouble, please do get back to us.

I'm not updating my iPad to iOS 8 justs to use mumsnet
And I'm currently on my phone with the most up to date iOS and it's still slow

I'm back on the desktop site. It's not crashing (yet), but the page isn't scrolling up and down like it should.

It was much better last night but crashing again all the time now and only when using MN. Not going to do IOS 8 because of space issues. My ipad won't let me do it!

I've updated my iPad to iOS 8 and no more crashing but I still can't access Show All Messages. As an aside, my other iPad is a much older model and can't be updated as not enough memory so it seems unfair you are asking people to update when they may not be able to. Can't you make the site backwards compatible - MN is such a simple site like BBC news, not a flashy site!
