MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

Been happening on my iPad for the last 3 days. Driving me mad. Why has it only just started with me when it's been affecting others for ages, and why only on the iPad not the Apple Mac?

Dear Tech, in case it helps with diagnostics it is 0220 GMT and I have just been in the _chat thread about rat hammocks with no problems. Then went into the one about if you have a dog what breed is it and it has crashed it. Been happening for me on this thread all evening. Originally I thought he Doghouse militants had broken in to chat and sabotaged it Grin

Hi again. We've been trying very hard to narrow down the criteria that triggers this bug in Safari, but alas it is still eluding us. We've had our resident iOS developer do some deeper analysis the exact moment Safari crashes and have used this information to submit a bug report to Apple. The bug ID is 20291294 for anybody who is interested and has access to the Apple developer site. It's definitely not isolated to Mumsnet, although of course that is no comfort to us. I will post again when we have more news.

Still happening for me, and only on mumsnet. I use my iPad loads for work on a lot of different sites and none of them are crashing.

Sham I have found it that has stopped now that I have updated my iPad to the latest iOS software

It's not just mumsnet! I thought it was but as I have had zillions of crashes on mumsnet on ipad in the last few days - but it's justdone it on the BBC website too for the first time. So frustrating. Seems to be affecting mumsnet much more than other sites though.

I have a confession: I thought I had the latest update, but I didn't.

I'm now running ios 8.2 on an ipad2 and the crashing issue has resolved, but loading time seems significantly longer and sometimes the page stops halfway with the talk banners enlarged, just like before.

Seems to have stopped for me now (I am on IOS 7) on ipad on mumsnet, still getting it on facebook though. Pleased to be able to MN this weekend though!

This situation is becoming untenable for me. I so love this site but the frustration is overwhelming my enjoyment.
