Keep getting advertorials popping up

Hi MN towers.
Ive been reading a long thread on here this morning and every minute or so, when I scroll down, the page suddenly goes to an advertorial site. One was a health and well being site, the other had some ad about doctors and then weight loss ads. I'm not clicking on anything to make this happen and it seems to be getting more frequent.
I'm on my iPad, if that matters.
Anyone else having this problem?
Hope it can be stopped as it's making the site almost unusable!

Me too, but it happened on another site I was on too, so it may not just be a Mumsnet problem.

MacBook Safari here - but it's not just happening on MN for me but on other sites too. I thought I had some kind of virus on my laptop.

Hi all,

SO sorry this is happening, we've been blocking like crazy and I think that we might have found the cause of all this.

We'll have to give it a bit of time to sync but if it's happening after 4:45pm then we'll go back to the drawing board.

It's only just started for me - been on MN on and off all day Blush (in bed with a cold, sniff) and there are some threads I cannot open at all without being redirected.

Mac Safari Firefox if that helps.

Bloody annoying - I know I could do with losing weight but to have it rubbed in like that? Tsk!!
