I don't mind if it is the case but i can't help wondering if it is to enable more advertising - ie figleaves in breast/bottle feeding and wwf in pets etc. Just seems there are a few topics i wouldn't really consider, well necessary!

Nope, it's not for that. Every week we are asked to add new topics. When we have a meeting we discuss all the requests that have come in. Only those that fit the MN criteria get the green light. Far more are turned down than get through.
