How do I convert links on android?

I mean actually being able to post working, clickable links.

Used to be able to do it on my iPhone but can't seem to do it on my android

use square brackets that can be found in the Symbols bit of the keyboard when you are typing

- use these at either side of the Web address you want to link to

mine says Sym and square brackets are on page 2
