I burst in to tears when your lovely lovely parcel arrived for me. Each gift, so thoughtful and so kind. I have kept the children's gifts wrapped but must confess to opening mine. The gloves are beautiful and very timely with the cold snap.
I am going to let the LO's open their gifts from you on Christmas eve. DH works O/S and will not be home, so Christmas is a bitter sweet time. It'll be nice to give them a little extra happiness.

I was gobsmacked to be nominated and didn't feel as though I deserved it at all, so I had sort of mixed feelings about it all to be honest.

All that dissipated, though, when I was opening your parcels. Such lovely, thoughtful gifts, beautifully wrapped. I was so touched that a stranger would go to such trouble for someone they don't know. It really got the spirit of Christmas started for me! DD says thank you very much for her voucher; I explained the situation when I gave it to her and she looked amazed and said
"So someone I don't know gave me this? That's really, really kind!"

I waited to open your presents until I was decorating the tree. Thank you so much for making my day (and kicking off the festive season) so special. You are a very generous person!

And I especially loved the hand-made card, too!

thankyou so much for the amazing parcel which arrived today. I feel so overwhelmed firstly to have been nominated and secondly that someone I don't know would take the time and energy to choose and wrap and send gifts for my dc's and for me as well. its amazing. they wont get much this year as it has been a really tough one but getting the parcel really moved me.

thankyou just doesn't seem enough but know that the gifts are hugely appreciated as they will be some of few.

I am humbled by your generosity - I have received two gifts so far - one beautifully wrapped so I won't open that until Christmas Day - and have been notified another is on it's way! I don't know what I have done to deserve such generosity and fear I may be the happy beneficiary of an administrative cock up in gin-sodden MN santa's grotto but thank you so very very much.

Next week will be a tough one for us as dd is back in hospital - in London so not local at all - and I shall be with her all week hoping and praying they finally sort her out.
