To my Secret Santa (the label just said from a Mumsnetter so I'm not sure of your donor username).
I cannot express how difficult the last few months have been for my family. Whilst we knew our funny, clever, brave, kind and beautiful 3 1/2 year old son had a rare heart condition we just weren't prepared for him to grow his angel wings and leave us behind. He has left a huge hole in our lives. I am very thankful for my Mumsnetters Mothers Group who have given me a huge amount of love and support - and I suspect them for my nomination.
I live in Australia, and for you to find a way to send me something shows not only sheer brilliance but also compassion. Thank you. I've been pretty much overwhelmed with the kindness shown.
I'm sorry - I'm not very good with words - particularly when I'm writing about my little hero as the tears flow but from the bottom of my heart thank you xx

Hi! I posted on here last week saying I'd PM you about your gift so I could be more specific in my thanks. I did so, but I just found a reply and it seems to have got through to the wrong Santa!
I hope you didn't think I'd not bothered! :( I don't understand why it went to the wrong santa as I definitely put the same name that was on the package you sent.
Anyway, what I will say is that the chocolate will be much enjoyed by the DCs :o and the voucher was fantastic - I used it to get something I'd previously decided we couldn't justify - but there was a little left over, so I used it to get a lovely bauble - every year when I hang it on the tree I will remember your kindness :)

I cannot describe the overwhelming feelings when I opened the parcel, there are so many parts to this gift. So much thought and time have gone I to it. None have been opened as yet but the DCs will have mini stockings now, a surprise for them for sure!

I am sure every part will be perfect. Your time, thoughtfulness and generosity is gratefully received. Thank you for reminding me of the best part of human nature.

We have opened them early as I know that I can't 'do' presents on the actual day itself. I am very touched by your thoughtfulness and have shed many a tear. I am also terribly worried that I have mixed up SantaA and SantaD as although I kept everything separately, with the gifts with the cards, my dopey dog managed to sweep everything off the table and the envelopes with SantaA/D got mixed up.

Oh my goodness - to whoever my lovely, kind donor was, I can't thank you enough for the parcel we received today. I honestly can't. The girls are going to love their presents - I wasn't having the best of days today (I'm currently riding the highs and lows of leaving an abusive marriage) but then this parcel arrived - the postman was like, 'I'm not sure if this is for you, what's your name?' to which I told him, he looked a bit confused and showed me the address on the parcel and it said 'To the Mumsnetter at my address' haha! I said, yes that's me and had the biggest smile on my face. What you did for me today wonderful donor, was made me feel loved and looked after and supported - something I haven't felt in a very long time. Thank you, thank you, thank you and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas (unmumsnetty hug and huge kiss on the cheek!)

Dear Secret Santa........I was totally over whelmed today on receiving your parcel. It was so unexpected, soooo generous and just made me lost for words. I felt like a kid opening it, not sure when I last felt so excited. It wasnt just your generosity but the thought that had obviously gone into it. I have put the wrapped gifts under the tree, our first ones actually and we will open them on Christmas morning. I would love to know where the unusual food gifts came from, never seen any of them before, have hidden them in my bedroom or three hungry children will devour them before Christmas! So from the Peace family, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, peace and happiness and thank you so very much from us all. I still cant stop thinking about it! xx
