Received your very thoughtful and generous gift today when I got in from work. Thank you for the lovely message too. It was a real treat, and I promise I will use it for me (I have to admit I had a little peek under the wrapped box as it sounded tasty and I wanted to make sure I put them somewhere safe :-D), although I will share the yummy stuff with my best friend over Christmas Eve coffee at my house.

I have spent a lot of time running around non stop for other people's Christmas's over the last couple of months and it really brought a tear or two to my eye that someone took time out to think about me, even though you don't know me. Thank you

I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for the delay in sending the presents for your family. I've had a crazy few weeks with moving house/ lots to do at work and being pregnant and exhausted but I've got the stuff and now I just need to get wrapping paper and get to a post office. It will definitely be within the next few days. I just didn't want you to think I'd forgotten.

I forgot to say, thank you for the gift card too. I need to work out what to treat the DCs to, or me or both!

I thought that was Ok because maybe they had been nominated a couple of times and so would receive more than one parcel?
But I've also tried to name change to say that mine was posted a week ago and it should have arrived on Monday the 8th (meant to post before but haven't had chance) but it said that User name was already in use.

Dear "Random Stranger on the Internet" (hopefully that will help ), I have left the parcel for the girls to unwrap when they get in from school so we will all see what it is then! They'll be very excited by getting to unwrap something before Christmas.

I was looking at some board games on Amazon last night, so will put the voucher to use for one of those (or maybe a couple if they're cheap) to wrap to go under the tree for us all.

Thank you for brightening up this morning (dp has just left to pick up his dad's ashes) & putting a smile back on my face. I hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas
