what do ya all recon to a cook book, which is full of nutrious, wholesome meals, but also cheap for those on budgets?

thought it could be done like the MN books they already sell, or do u have to have a qualification or something for cook books?

you don't have to have a qualification ..mrs ramsey has one

perhaps with extracts from food threads?

Munz · 03/10/2006 13:48

lol fio! (not quite what I had in mind! lol)

zip - yes that's what I was thinking - cos we're always askin each other for cheap recipes with next to nothing in the house etc.

trouble is though, aren't most of the recipes given on here actually by other 'celebrity' or well known chefs ? Possible copyright issue ?

Flamebat · 03/10/2006 13:50

Oooh - can the lemon drizzle cake go in????

ooh I didn't think of that NDP - well done, yes it would be a ball ache to trawl each recipe to see if it's been done wouldn't it.

oh well there goes that idea then.

Blandmum · 03/10/2006 13:55

Tortington · 03/10/2006 13:55

why are we raising money - its a buisness not a charity you know.

if you want to give them your money i am sure justine carrie and rachel wont object. or buy the existing mums on babies books

Flamebat · 03/10/2006 13:57

Munz · 03/10/2006 13:58

I think this was suggested a while ago when the second book came out, and there was quite a lot of support so it might do well. I think it would be good.

Anyone got a recipe for homemade Fruit Shoots?

MerlinsBeard · 03/10/2006 18:47

as a small aside, i was in the library looking at recipe books and nobody has written one about babies and toddlers.

Furball · 03/10/2006 18:49

Annabel Karmel caters for babies and toddlers doesn't she?

taMummy · 03/10/2006 18:50

There are loads, surely? I guess the market would bear more, but I don't think it's going to be a USP.

MerlinsBeard · 03/10/2006 18:52

sorry - should have written Nobody has written a recipe book for contented kids

CreepyCrawlyCarmenere · 03/10/2006 18:59
