Using Windows 8 and Mozilla Firefox. Even worse when I was using Chrome.
It's been like this for a few hours now, pages just hanging or that annoying circle spinning round.
Have cleared cookies etc, just wondering if the issue is my end or if others having problems too. Other web pages are loading fine though.

Same here I thought it was the wind.

smashboxmashbox · 21/10/2014 19:37

Same here I thought it was the wind. Making my broadband slow

HarrietSchulenberg · 21/10/2014 19:38

Same here in Shropshire. Thought it was my broadband which is often slow between the hours of dawn and, well, the next dawn.

AnguaResurgam · 21/10/2014 19:40

Maybe we all have wind!

But for me (on safari) MN is definitely slower than other sites I'm looking at and a bit cranky.

smashboxmashbox · 21/10/2014 19:40

Oh. It is so slow I thought I had time to add a bit to my post but it posted it twice because it was that slow. LOL

bronya · 21/10/2014 19:48

Same here - other sites are normal. Using Chrome...

IamtheZombie · 21/10/2014 20:07

Same for Zombie. Windows 8 and Firefox.

BlueSix · 21/10/2014 20:12

Nee too using safari on an ipad

coppertop · 21/10/2014 20:19

Very slow here too.

Windows-something and Chrome.

Do the Techs need to pedal faster?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/10/2014 20:23

On safari and very very sloooooooow.

FruitBasedDrinkForALady · 21/10/2014 20:25

Very slow here too...good job I read this before giving out to DH for hogging all the bandwidth. definitely worse than hogging all the duvet

BreconBeBuggered · 21/10/2014 20:29

Slooooooooooooo-ooooooooooow.
Firefox, whatever the latest version is. PC. Sloooooooooo-ooooooooooooow.

SpanielofDoom · 21/10/2014 20:31

Ok, at least I know it's not just my lousy internet. Using ipad now and it's even worse!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 21/10/2014 20:33

Windows 7 and Chrome. Very, very slow.

PinkSquash · 21/10/2014 20:35

On Samsung galaxy S2 using Chrome and it is very slow. I thought it was me.

Although it could work ib my favour of getting to bed early if it keeps up.

thebrideishighbutimholdingon · 21/10/2014 20:36

Same here. Firefox. MN much slower than usual and slower than other sites.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 21/10/2014 20:41

Mine too - just accused DH of hogging the bandwidth Blush

FryOneFatManic · 21/10/2014 20:41

It's happening here too (east mids). Driving me nuts, so with the headache I've got, think I'll iron my work clothes and clear off to bed.

FruVikingessOla · 21/10/2014 20:51

Me too.

iMac & Firefox.

Also, while I think of it, I've sometimes had to click on 'Preview' a couple of times and, similarly, click on 'Post' a couple of times because it just won't load the first time.

DraaaaghmaAlpacaaaagh · 21/10/2014 20:54

Same here, using Windows 7 & Chrome. Thought it was just me because the teens were downloading stuff.

enWoooquethesythebearingwizard · 21/10/2014 21:16

Exactly the same for me OP except that since yesterday I can't reply to anything on FF even though I've logged out, cleared cookies, logged in again. I can read, but not reply.
I've had to migrate to Chrome, but that's terribly slow too.
