What fresh hell is this?

I find skimwords really, really irritating and intrusive. It's crazy having them on a forum where you can already convert links automatically. Especially where there is no way to tell which is a skimwords and which is a link put there by a poster.

Many apologies - this turns out to be a bug associated with the Skimlinks service (which we do use). Skimlinks are aware and are dealing with it. They say they've mostly sorted it out now, but in order to ensure that the auto-links don't display any more you may have to clear your cache.

Thank goodness. I also started a thread about this yesterday. I knew it wasn't my computer as it was only happening on MN.
I even added skimlinks to Adblock plus as it's an affiliate programme for marketing and I found it very intrusive.
I don't mind advertising when it's obvious but really didn't like the stealth links.
