Sorry for shouting. I'm guessing MNHQ has exploded with people complaining so this is for actual questions or queries.

How do I hide threads?

How do I get all OPs posts to highlight, not just the opening post?

I had to go to the topic and the button that says 'add post' on the blue bar when I'm on a thread changed to "add thread"

Ok, I've highlighted the OP's posts and it's made No. Bloody. Difference.

Oh, I'm sorry, I tell a lie. The OP's posts are now a fetching shade of off white. Really stands out against the white.

I have downloaded the app and I hate that too.

In fact I hate it so much it's putting me off using MN, which is a shame as I love this site.

Just figured out how to start a thread and came back to see Southern's beaten me to it.

Interestingly not really if you're in Active convos and click on the down arrow icon thingy the add post option (that changes to add thread if you're in a topic but not on someone else's thread) does absolutely fuck all if you click it.

I really hope that the MN tech people hurry up and fix all the annoying things - starting with highlighting the posts properly!

Lego , I haven't got a down arrow at the top of my screen! Hate this!
Also, the 'go to page' box isn't working for me, whatever number I type in, it takes me to page 1!!!

Can't even load up all of the "official" thread.

Even when you "fix" it, most of the things I hate about it will still be there.

Pleeeeeeease just write it off as a silly idea and give us back the old website.

Why not launch it tomorrow if that was when they could be around to fix it.

Hi LittleBearPad (and everyone else who's been wondering about this)

We were fully intending to launch the new version much earlier in the day, but for various technical reasons this just wasn't possible. Holding back the new release wasn't an option either, so we've gone ahead and hope that you'll all bear with us for tonight.

We promise that our Tech folk will be on hand to talk us all through the new mobile site in the morning.

Again, we're really sorry for the inconvenience. Flowers

Or did MN just think removing half the site functionality would be a splendid idea?

Oh, and another thing!
On the lovely old website, when you were on Threads I'm On, you could click on the Talk topic of each Thread You're On and navigate to that topic. Now it seems you can't? That's really annoying, too.

My standard practice was "go to TIO to see if there were any new/interesting posts, and from there, either click on a post or click on a topic". Now I can't do either.

I need to be able to hide threads, and I like being able to see what new posts are on TIO in case someone's asked me a question.

The first/next/previous/last buttons need to be at the top of the page as well as the bottom.

Also imho, it just looks unfinished and not very polished. What did the beta testers make of it?

Now when I go to a thread I'm watching it takes me to the first post. It used to take me to the last post I read. And the number of unread posts in posts I'm watching never updates. Hate it. I'm off.

The colour isnt great anyway, I previously had OPs posts highlighted green. How do I get all posts in a thread shown rather than clicking through pages and pages, It has also changed on my desktop site and I cant remember how to change it.
