iPhone mn app - WTF?

WTF has happened to the iPhone app?

I've managed to get rid of the shortcuts bar at the bottom which cut off so much of the screen that it made me feel like I was trying to read a billboard through a porthole.

I can't, however, find how to turn back on the setting that coloured the OP's ongoing posts a specific colour.

Anyone managed to do this?

I just want to make it work like it use to!

Agh! Just opened the website on my iPhone. It's all different. I don't like change!!

No idea. One moment I'm happily avoiding the tidying up by escaping into someone else's far more interesting life reading a supporting a nurturing community conversation.

The next moment it's all different and I actually have to read all the posts to follow what's going on rather than skim for a differently coloured post.

Oh the inhumanity of it all.

evabeavers it's easy to get rid of the silly bottom shortcuts thing.

Just go to the Person in a circle at the top right if your screen and click on "remove shortcut buttons"

It's only one small thing but it's a small correction improvement to cling to in the sea of this disaster.

And the watch etc options are available but you've got to Make the compromise of losing a significant proportion of your screen to the shortcut buttons bar as far as I can tell.

So you lose the sense of being able to scroll easily.

I'll post if I find a less offensive way of using mumsnet effectively having those links available.

What happened? I'm on safari on iPhone. Now when I go to I'm on, I can't see the latest posts anymore so I can't tell if I have read them! Most inconvenient.
