Mumsnet redirecting to porn website

Is it just me?

It's happening on my phone, I click on a thread and instead of opening it sends me to some dodgy porn site.

It's not every time, but it's happened twice in 24hrs. I'm not tech savy is it my IPhone?

Thanks for the screenshot. I've been trying to replicate the issue without any success today, but I certainly think that this might be some sort of malware or virus related issue. It might worth trying to clear your device browser cache and also try running a malware scan to see if that helps.

Should this problem resurface, please provide as much information as you can as this will help me to pinpoint the source and hopefully I can get rid of it permanently.

Used my phone to view various pages on Mumsnet today, adverts are as per normal. No issues. So has the problem disappeared?

Me too! I can't see what it actually takes me too as I have a content filter thingy but it keeps jumping onto the filter page because it is trying to take me to something dodgy.

I managed to catch it halfway through the jump and it was using the linking site 'Bitter Strawberry' if that is of any help?

Oh I'm on android by the way, using the mobile site.

I have spotted that the maj of probs have occurred overnight UK time, as opposed to between brunch and high tea time, as it were. Hmmmmmm.

I've had this before with mumsnet. Actually think it's something on Facebook that does it. I reset my router then clear history and cookies in safari settings and make sure ad blocker is on. I also double tap home key and clear windows pre opened. Finally I load safari and change it to private then back to normal.

Worked for me anyways.

Has been happening to me too, including just now. Luckily talk mobile are blocking the pages so I didn't realise it was porn. Am using the mobile site on Android chrome. I have anti virus.

I just had it, checking MN in the queue at the doctors and bloody porn comes up!

Had ewank and slimsites (?) a few times, mobile site on android phone, running AVG security. Generally happens going from (eg) page 2 to 3 of a thread, or back to Active from a thread.

Also quite a few posts coming up with 0 posts. Click on them and it directs you somewhere weird!

Also, have got Malwarebytes anti-malware installed, ran a full scan, nothing showing up in any apps, of which I have very few

I had to laugh at Worra's early on in the comments!

Just had a look at the browser history on my phone and found these two. Logging is pretty unsophisticated on the android browser, so I can only tell you it happened between 2 and 7 days ago . The first pic has the MN page I was redirected from at the bottom of the list, the second one has the next MN page I went to at the top of the list.

If it happens again, I'll try to make a note of date/time.

Morning All..Sorry to read that some of you are still being affected by ewank. I can confirm that our network partner has implemented an additional block to help filter out the offending advertiser. I have also notice that the ewank site is using Google baseline tags, so I have added that url to our Google adx account block list.

Thanks for all your help and comments thus far - please keep them coming and I will continue to do all that I can to help put a stop this issue.

No issues since I cleared cache on me mobile (samsung galaxy, chrime browser)

I got this yesterday and assumed it was just me! Don't think it was ewank, although moved away from the page immediately as thought it was probably a virus. Mine was in French (am on France on holiday). Have attached a screenshot of my history. Think it was more than one of the pages on my history. Am using Android.
