Is it just me?
It's happening on my phone, I click on a thread and instead of opening it sends me to some dodgy porn site.
It's not every time, but it's happened twice in 24hrs. I'm not tech savy is it my IPhone?
KateSMumsnet · 16/08/2014 13:42
Sorry folks! That must be quite alarming.
Can you give us a bit more info about what happens? Is it the same thread every time, or is it happening on different threads? If you can bear it, could you send us a screenshot to the site you're being redirected to?
We're just going to move this thread to Site Stuff.

Arf - reading my post back it does rather sound like I was asking for all the gory details
We'll do what kind can to find out what's happening, but if there's any more info (techy info obviously) you can provide, then please let us know.

Hi everyone, Thanks for the screenshot. I've been trying to replicate the issue without any success today, but I certainly think that this might be some sort of malware or virus related issue. It might worth trying to clear your device browser cache and also try running a malware scan to see if that helps.
Should this problem resurface, please provide as much information as you can as this will help me to pinpoint the source and hopefully I can get rid of it permanently.
Rich

Morning All..Sorry to read that some of you are still being affected by ewank. I can confirm that our network partner has implemented an additional block to help filter out the offending advertiser. I have also notice that the ewank site is using Google baseline tags, so I have added that url to our Google adx account block list.
Thanks for all your help and comments thus far - please keep them coming and I will continue to do all that I can to help put a stop this issue.
Regards, Rich

@ZooTicuS1979
Downloader Tibs Summary Downloader Tibs is a malicious application that allows hackers to remotely access your computer system letting them modify files, steal personal information and install more unwanted software. These kinds of threats, called Trojan horse, must be sent to you by someone or carried by another program. They may also arrive thanks to unwanted downloads on infected websites or installed with online games or other internet-driven applications. Most Trojan horses can be detected and removed by AVG.
Hi there ZooTicuS1979!
Tech has assured us that the site is completely secure, especially now we’re on https. There is no virus or anything malicious on the site, however, if you could send us some screenshots if this continues to happen (and let us know what browser you're using) then we'd be happy to take a look.
