Why do you ban people without warning?

Why do you ban people without warning? Often they have not gone outside the talk guidelines

that's the only thing I could think of that would mean someone got banned without any warning.

Or if a warning email gets into junk by accident. Does happen sometimes.

Also staying within guidelines but a PATTERN of sub-gf-ing might mean MN get fed up and pull yer plug possibly

My friend got banned today, she was wondering why. She didn't break any of the talk guidelines but lots of people reported her because they didn't like her views
