Ditto - only noticed when I couldn't find the 'new' post that appeared in Active for a thread I was following.

From trying to 'fix' it via "My Account" it seems that there are now no layout settings preferences available any more?

It's meant to be the season of giving, not taking things away...

Me too, I really hate it. I haven't used pages for years! I've checked a few threads lately and been surprised they haven't moved on. I suddenly notice I had to go to next page.

Agree it is awful and so difficult to use on the mobile site - takes ages to move to 2nd page and doesn't show anything is happening so I am left wondering why it won't work

never use pages, when I want to get to the end of a thread I press 'end'.

Only just realised this was happening, threads that i had read and saved kept showing in Active but no new posts when I opened them!

So do I.

I keep posting on threads and then realising that I've only read to the 500th post, not seen the later ones.

It's driving me batty.

If they won't change it, I personally would prefer a 500 post limit. So we can start a thread 2 and be done with it. That's what we did with the Strictly threads - stop at 500 and start again.

Hi all, just wanted to post to say thanks for providing your feedback and to let you know it's been seen. We know this has been discussed before and one of the reasons we made the change so that the site could load quicker for our members.

Maryz if it really isn't loading quicker then we definitely need to look into that. We don't make decisions to change the site lightly, we honestly look at how to make it better for members.

Could you let us know what browser you use? Does anyone else have any problems with pages loading?

I haven't noticed it loading any quicker at all.

The new layout is so very irritating though! [grumpy]

I hate pages too. I particularly hate the way when you click on a thread in Active Convos when it takes you to page one rather than to the latest post on page 2. If you could fix that then it wouldn't be quite so bad
