Mumsnet Census

JackieNo · 29/06/2006 11:20

Just filled it in, and I think I need an extra option for the 'how often do you visit Mumsnet' question - 'Every ten minutes or so' or even 'Once I'm on, I don't really leave all day'.

Considered putting "lurker" but thought it might get returned to me with a "computer says NO"

MrsDoolittle · 29/06/2006 12:37

No 'NO' Flameboo, it's 'naaaaaowwww'

Done.

The employment bit doesn't have enough categories. There is no 'self employed' and really I'm 'self employed/SAHM' as I do my work in my spare time. I put 'part time paid employment' but it doesn't really reflect what I do. No big deal I guess!

Thank goodness the salary bands are large! Not giving that much away filling that out!

zippitippitoes · 29/06/2006 12:45

thank goodness there was an option for reading the papers online..didn't want anybody thinking I bought that stuff!

I have filled it in too (keen to win the break away!) but I am not sure why you asked for our postcodes. Having given you our salary details, number and type of cars owned, newspapers read, etc, I feel I have exposed myself a bit more than I wanted to anyway, but then to give the postcode too, which can identify some people almost down to one address.... Was that necessary Mumsnet? Couldn't you next time ask us to choose which region of the country we lived in? Thanks!

LIZS · 29/06/2006 13:22

I skimmed over the postcode and gave letters only for that very reason . Still seemed to go through.

DumbledoresGirl · 29/06/2006 13:23

Darn, wish I had done so too now.

flutterbee · 29/06/2006 13:24

done and bumped again.

flutterbee · 29/06/2006 13:25

Oh no now you have me thinking about the postcode thing

zippitippitoes · 29/06/2006 13:26

I only put the first half of the postcode

cupcakes · 29/06/2006 13:38

Is this for the benefit of advertisers?
