Mumsnet pages too wide for my phone!

Have been reading the site very successfully on my Android phone but suddenly, the pages don't seem to fit? I'm having to scroll across the page to read which didn't seem to happen before.

What's happened?!

Mine too. It is very annoying.

I tried the app instead but it kept crashing.

Are you looking at the desktop site instead of the mobile site? Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on the mobile site button.

Mine only started doing this last night, after a short period of text-only, which followed a Mumsnet is offline message.

It's made me use the app, which I don't like because the OP is not highlighted and you can't bookmark - but it's that or scrolling.

Same thing here. It's very frustrating. Even in tie box as I type, I can't see all I've written. Was beginning to think my phone wasn't working.

Same here, been posting on a thread in site stuff about it. I would link to it, but the fiddlyness of doing that on the phone is even worse when the screen size is all off Confused

It goes from too wide to normal.

I also just before got something odd instead of active convos. I got three threads with bump, remove or "can't remember third option" gremlins.

Sounds like a techy glitch then rather than my phone! Started last night. Whilst page is loading it's fine; once loaded, the purple banners with 'first' 'next' 'previous' and 'last' on are stretched right across the page. Weird.

Me too. I thought it was my phone but I even tried switching off and on again and even that didn't cure it.

Have changed me settings on the phone to 'shrink text to fit page' or something like that. It still doesn't look right, the format is all wrong but at least I don't need to scroll.
