GranToAirMissiles · 20/10/2012 22:25

Really, you plebs.

Trills · 20/10/2012 22:29

No more topics. No.

gallicgirl · 20/10/2012 22:31

I thought that's what AIBU was for?

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2012 22:33

aibu is apparently for everything.

LittleFrieda · 20/10/2012 22:33

AIBU is for when there is an element of doubt. Disgusted of Tumbridge Wells is for when the outrage is reasonable, entirely and absolutely.

I once did a thread in chat about my dd doing a charity walk for Malala and some git complained so it was moved. It's appauling that in this day and age you cannot post a shameless plug without it being removed!

Yours,

Disgusted, Tunbridge Wells

I think we need many, many more topics.

Boards, for example have got a mustard topic, and a zombie survival topic. Anyone who thinks this is a bad thing is Very Wrong Indeed.

Trills · 20/10/2012 22:48

Tumbridge Wells is for when you are feeling fat and discusted.

GranToAirMissiles · 20/10/2012 22:49

Wrong, wrong, wrong [gavel]. (Quoting my sister, who reads the DM)

LittleFrieda · 20/10/2012 22:51

Trills Grin yes: Tumbridge Swells.

THERhubarb · 20/10/2012 22:52

Zombies are much maligned and misunderstood.

FreddieMercurysEnormusPumpkin · 20/10/2012 23:00

As is mustard. The most maligned and misunderstood condiment.

AngryFeet · 20/10/2012 23:03

What the hell is that boards forum about? They also have topics for sweets, cakes and pies, beerguts and hunting Confused

IvorHughJackolantern · 20/10/2012 23:11

I live near Tunbridge Wells. I am often discosted.

It's the Royal Borough of though, if you please.

GranToAirMissiles · 20/10/2012 23:18

'Discosted' - is that how they say 'discounted' in The Royal Borough?

IvorHughJackolantern · 20/10/2012 23:21

No one ever says 'discounted' in The Royal Borough Hmm

FreddieMercurysEnormusPumpkin · 20/10/2012 23:52

It's a fantastic forum:) There's something for everyone, it's quite educational.

HelenMumsnet · 22/10/2012 13:55

Grin at this thread.

Where does Tonbridge figure in all this? Sloppy seconds?

CunningPlan · 22/10/2012 13:59

Helen how can you be Grin?

You're supposed to be outraged and disgusted.

It's disgusting and outrageous. Someone ought to do something about it

OatyBeatie · 22/10/2012 14:04

As part of the revamp of Mumsnet Local, we ought really to assign a reactive state to every locality. Tsarinas will have to scout out the prevailing sentiment in their area.

This week my locality is mostly teetering between indifference and optimism.

FreddieMercurysEnormusPumpkin · 22/10/2012 14:06

And what about the mustard?

LittleFrieda · 22/10/2012 19:10

OatyBeatie I think that's a brilliant idea. It could be done like a weather forecast: Harpenden starts the week being very enthusiastic, turning to tiredness on Wednesday until optimistic enthusiasm resumes on Friday, settling in for the weekend.
