I've still got it?!

Can you check your history and go back to one of the links via there? That's what's have to do if I accidentally click "desktop site".

MNHQ you don't mAke it easy to get back to the mobile version!

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 22/06/2012 18:33

No if you type in the address thingy it goes to the standard.

If I go in past history it goes to standard.

It want to standard when I refreshed a display.

It's gone.

I can use the tag thingy but then can't open it in safari as it reverts to standard.

I,ve still got it as well if I use Opera but not if I use the stock Android browser it just reverts to the standard as per the OP.

Sirzy · 22/06/2012 18:43

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 22/06/2012 19:04

Hi folks, it looks like we are not recognizing that you are on a phone so it's showing standard. Can you do us a favour and, from the browser that's not working, go to www.mumsnet.com/tech-diagnostic-page and click "send report." Then we should be able to fix it.

Sirzy · 22/06/2012 19:08

done!

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 22/06/2012 19:12

Ooooh that brought me back to the mobile site. Clever tech

All normal here

Sirzy · 22/06/2012 19:22

It's back :)

Tech · 22/06/2012 19:24

Hi Sirzy, I can see the problem you've got.

Try this link www.mumsnet.com/version-choice?version=mobile&p=p - that should put you on mobile.

We'll add a more prominent "switch to mobile version" link shortly.

WipsGlitter · 22/06/2012 20:22

Mines gone too :(

WipsGlitter · 22/06/2012 20:24

I'm on an iPad.

Tech · 22/06/2012 20:33

Hi Wips, iPads are only showing the full version at present. We'll address this over the next couple of days, so that you can switch back.

jaggythistle · 22/06/2012 21:05

Mine's gone too, despite trying both links above.

am using Samsung dolfin 1.5 browser apparently.

please help me fix it by bedtime, i need Mumsnet for night feeds!

jaggythistle · 22/06/2012 21:09

PS it's been all day and i had to try and read an actual newspaper while i was at my hospital appointment today which is much harder to do while bfing. i have serious withdrawal symptoms!

1sassylassy · 22/06/2012 21:11

jaggythistle, are you on a samsung phone or tablet?I have opera mini browser on my samsung phone and the mobile site is working on that.

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 22/06/2012 21:13

Balls me phones broke again.

OP posts:
WandaDoff · 22/06/2012 21:14

I'm using Opera mini on a Samsung & mine has been like this most of the day. I've sent a report as per above.

Tech · 22/06/2012 21:17

Hi, If you're on a phone that we think is a mobile, but you are getting the desktop version, scroll right down to the bottom of the screen. There should be a big mahoosive button there marked "Mobile site." Click that and you should switch back to mobile.

If you are on a device we don't recognise as being a mobile (includes ipads currently) then than button might not be there. We'll add a "switch to mobile version" link for that, but it won't be today.

Sorry for the hassle.

Tech · 22/06/2012 21:17

...then that button... even. Must learn to preview.

jaggythistle · 22/06/2012 21:26

i don't see a button

it's just a not smart wee phone but the mobile site works fine on it.
