it seems I can log in to post but if I try to log into my profile I get refused!

NB for your profile you need to put your email address in, not your talk name - are you doing this?

Yep, even triple checked I have the right e mail address.

I changed my password a while ago, have I broken my mumsnet??

Hi GAG, we can't see anything wrong. Is it possible you registered with an email that's slightly different from what you entered in the login form. If you get our newsletters, at the bottom of them it should say something like "We sent this message to [email protected], where the [email protected] is the email we have registered for you. For some people this is not the exact email address they normally use or receive mail on (some mail services have aliases and automatically forward messages etc.) Our system doesn't know anything about that, and needs you to enter the exact address we have registered for you. That address is the one printed at the bottom of newsletters.

Have the right address but it wouldn't accept it.

Have just requested a new password using it and i got the reset email and did all that and have now gone into my profile. Just very confused as my password was right as I've logged in to post .
