On a thread running at the moment, several posts have been deleted. (One of mine included!)
I knew mine would be deleted because it could have been construed as troll-hunting, and I also suggested that the OP might be researching an article/story.
The 'key' post was deleted because it was a personal insult.
Now, though, the upshot of it is that it looks like lots of people have been insulting others, whereas in fact the other posts that were deleted were those suggesting that the OP might not be genuine.
I get that if you put 'message deleted because it was troll-hunting', that you might as well leave the original posts (
), but it would be helpful if you could have put 'message deleted because it contravenes Talk guidelines' and then 'message deleted because it contained a personal insult'
Or something.
Otherwise we're all tarred with the same brush, IYSWIM.
