OP, do you mean the status thingy that comes up when you hover over your name? And it stays the same even if you change names?

I realised this a while ago. I have to remember to change my tag when namechanging or it outs me.

showey can you check mine and see if it is there with my change?

or does the ovver thingy work if you enable profile and get an underlining? in wjhicj cas a sensitive namechange to talk about mucous or poo would be pointless bollox too.

I have made that very same mistake before as well, when I name-changed for something personal. Luckily I realised and disabled the hovvery thing in the nick of time. But I agree with you - you should have to opt in to keep the hovvery thing when you name change.
