Inspired by the 11 people who completed the first survey from this thread: Can we have a like button on every posters post an expanded survey of suggestions has been put together.

Anyone without a sense of humour is invited to click Hide this thread, frothing beserkers are invited to start their own thread in AIBU and the rest of you please click www.surveymonkey.com/s/MM3TBDD. You get one go at the survey.

Results will be published on Friday.

What's the royal equivalent of a coup or mutiny?

KatieMorticiaton · 13/10/2011 10:01

To usurp?

Ironic that I've been picked out as a pro-like in my posts earlier by Tortoise - because I would actually prefer not to have a like button - because I like to see who is supporting what ever position. However, having read the other thread, I do see that there is an argument in favour of it - which if everyone had just clicked 'like' I wouldn't have seen.

I lurk on a lot of threads. But if I don't want to think about putting a sensible response together, even if it is as short as 'Go KatieM' or whatever, I don't post - although I would sometimes want to keep track of a thread and post later, in which case I 'watch this thread'.

KatieM - that colour really suits you [hwink] I'm envisaging you identifying H&S issues from [hbiscuit]s now... Like wrong type of biscuits for dunking leading to burned tongues, or potential for damage to eyes, requiring use of eye protection when biscuits being thrown out to the ravening hoards trust MN staff by Justine [hgrin]

  1. Things are slowing down a bit now. Perhaps we are approaching critical volume?

The gap on Q1 is widening. 21 votes between top two answers.

How long to go KatieM?

I'm closing it at 11am BST tomorrow.

I actually think most people will be pleased with the results.

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 13/10/2011 12:44

Clearly KatieM - that's why there's 21 more of them [hgrin]

KatieMorticiaton · 13/10/2011 12:58

Yes that is true! But I think the vast majority of posters will be happy. Though of course this is Mumsnet which means there will be carping opinions expressed.

604 and the gaps are widening.

Can I suggest those of you who feel very strongly go out and canvas support for the last few hours?

Just to help you a bit here's some information:

Pag has badges. And wine.

Hecate has a frankly baffling enviable collection of pussy pictures

Her fishy-ness has a critical eye, opinions aplenty and a unique posting style. Plus possibly a free pass to a S&B thread near you.

Now Go! Go! Go!
