Sorting "Threads I'm on"

I've noticed that this seems not to work the way it should -- the sort options 'My latest post' and 'Most recently active' seem to be reversed in terms of what they achieve. Is this general, or have I accidentally fallen into Looking Glass world? Or am I just being v. v. stupid in some way?

I think the options are for the opposite one that you're on, so you can swap it over, iyswim.

I have it on 'my latest post' but the option thingy says 'most recently active'. If I click on it, it changes the order to 'most recently active' and the option changes to 'my latest post'.

I'm on Mumsnet Classic, don't know if that makes a difference.

I would expect to press 'sort' to order up what is written in the box, and it's definitely not what's happening at the mo. Whichever one I select, when I press sort I get the other one, if you see what I mean.

I can handle it, but it took me a while to work out what was going on. Will try Classic to see if that affects things.

Seems they're the wrong way round, I'll sort out a fix for it soon.

Mine just seems to be a jumbled mess in either option... at first I just thought it was a glitch and would get sorted in time... but it's still not sorted :(

Also, can we please have a delete facility in TIO...PLEASE with chocolate on top!!

Would it be possible, technically, to have a Threads I've Bookmarked bit? I wouldn't care if I needed to click through from TIW or something, can see there's no room in the options bar.

Bookmarking is such a fab functionality but I hardly use it 'cause I just can't remember what I've bookmarked to go back to it.

Hate people posting . or so it's in TIA, and then not contributing. So I don't do it when I'm being nosy lurking.

I seem to have lost the option to sort threads according to latest post - is this part of the "fix"? I quite liked the option but now when I press "latest post" there is no change and it's still says "latest post" at the top, as opposed to "latest I'm on".

When can we get the latest post option back please?

No, we can't add punctuation in names and anyway the (MNHQ) is smaller than the name text and not clickable.

OK - I've been ever so patient over the weekend - it's now Monday lunchtime in the UK and it's not fixed yet - is it going to be soon? I like having the "latest post" option and I miss it already, even though we've only had it a few weeks!

PURLEASE fix it soon... :)

how odd, Mary - I wonder why that is?
I can't remember exactly when it appeared, but it was a few weeks back and at first I wasn't bothered but actually it's very useful to see which of the Threads I'm On have moved, without having to scroll through them all. So I'm a Bit Miffed that it's now disappeared!
