I agree that it was unethical of MN to use the advert, but it has now been thouroughly debated. I for one am much more knowlegable about formula, the advertising ban and the cynical tactics of formula companies thanks to you and to this
debate.

This is what it's all about surely.

I haven't posted on any of the threads, and I haven't read them all the way through. But can anyone tell me if any of the mumsnet team have commented on the situation, and if so what they have said ?

Hopefully when the current Milupa/MN advertising contract has expired (unless it gets pulled sooner by trading standards ), that will be the end of the relationship and those lovely MNers will come back.

I'm trying to keep up with these marathon threads whilst cleaning house and packing for hols.

I thought 'mears' was only her midwife name and that actually she posts under a different name when she just wants to be herself and not asked questions about breastfeeding etc.

So will both characters be leaving? or just mears.
