FF - I can completely respect your reasons, and would not want to go against the MN philosophy. But can I just say that as a volunteer clothing advisor, you have been completely crap? You have been completely judgemental in favour of those who choose Poundland over Boden, and have shown no sensitivity to those who because of class, education and peer pressure in the Land Rover Showrooms of Surrey, have been forced through no fault of their own to buy posh togs.

i think it is very poor quality myself for the money and very 1950s, from what i have seen obv never touched it

Blu · 24/08/2005 14:32

AND you have often been drunk and insensible and posting on flippant threads when desparate MN-ers needed you to advise on how to continue shopping in Poundland, even though the piped music hurts their ears, and that many have had to give up shopping at poundland through the lack of support and sympathy that a conscientious volunteer advisor might have provided?

It's all very well being a member of the Poundland brigade, ut you have to provide the support that new Mums need.

I am stunned that noone has even thought to ask where I am on this thread?

Its almost as though you don't think about me when I'm not around

To prove i have no hard feelings against you blu, i will offer you first refusal when i sell my poundland thongs on mn.

OP posts:
serah · 24/08/2005 15:01

erm, how much were the thongs new FF?

fairyfly · 24/08/2005 15:02

A pound, but seeing as i have worn them and my washing machine is broken i will sell them as three for a pound, can't say fairer than that.

jasper · 24/08/2005 15:08

xtlitol, anyone?

Fio2 · 24/08/2005 15:09

but they dont have the same, erm smell as poundland newly bought thongs or the bubblegum by the counter and lets not forget cash or chaques only and a pound in the trolley for three thongs and all that awful awful garden stuff and the aisles are sooo narrow, how does anyone get

bran · 24/08/2005 15:29

pmsl

Do you think I should start a new thread asking for a link to active conversations without buying/selling or any reference to adverts? A link to active convos without "devil" in the title would be good too.

anorak · 24/08/2005 15:33

you'd get a blank page, bran.

tatt · 25/08/2005 14:11

I think a " yawn " function would be good, for all the threads you'd prefer not to clog up the screen.
