Would you take (used) make up back if you thought it was a bit shit?

Just wondering as my mum bought me some Benefit make up, which I mostly love, but one of the things she bought me was Bad Gal lash which promises 'mile-high' lashes. It does absolutely nothing for me though, I did try it. Plus I'm loving my clinique mascara that just comes off with warm water, no panda eyes which is what this one has given me and is the reason I haven't worn mascara for years till discovering clinique.

It just seems an awful waste of money. Would you take it back and say it was a bit crap even though you'd used it?

In answer to earlier question, yes, erase paste does work.

It's quite thick and greasy but completely covers my circles without irritation, and you can cover with light powder if you find it too shiny.

I also use it lightly on the centres of my cheeks which can tend to redness.

So they wouldn't take it back?

That is truly crappy customer service.

definitely email Boots HQ.

I would email.

I won't be buying Benefit again now I know that, tbh, so that's one customer they lost.
