Ultra Early Pregnancy Tests!!!!!!!! Anyone Used?

And got a posotive result and if so how many days past ovulation. Just want to see if they actually work. Some reckon you can get a pos result as early as 3 days [cynicalface]

MaddyD - I got a positive 9 days after conception, which was CD25 for me. What day are you in your cycle right now?

Can I ask what brand of test you have used???

I got a positive 4 days before af was due using a first response from boots

only 8 dpo. But i bought one of those tests that say you can test as early as 7dpo. Foolish Just been on Fertitly friend and the say not to test really till at least 12 dpo as everyone ovulates diffrent.

yes I did althou I used it the day after AF was due up until then had BFN's but two the day after were BFP's think it depends on your body,

QF, I have done 7 over the past week, dh thought I was mental but now I know I'm normal! (ish!)

i got pos resutly at 9 days past ov and it is true...either that or i am 15wks fatter

have used those tests, they can claim such early results because 'some' people have had a result then, for most people its the same amount of time as usual. i did get a FAINT line -almost not there- at 9DPO, but it was 11/12 days before it really shone thro.

meant to say day later i got a positive on a clearblue digi.

Have just got a very faint line on a First response one...am off to the chemists to buy some more! I am due on today.........

Only thing i would say be careful of is evaporation lines as they can be very convincing especially if u r looking for the coveted BFP

My first response line was v faint too at first but definitely there. 7 various tests later I am sure!

Wow im not alone. Here goes confession time. After my mc it took 55 days for my af to come and in that time i used.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................20 tests. Thankyou Qf. It totally shocked me. After 3 healthy pregnancies im afraid i took pregnancy for granted. Never again.

So is there still hope for me then this cycle. Dramaqueen how faint exactly was the 9dpo test, was it a hod it up to the window and squint kinda of line.

The only problem i see with early detection pregnancy test is that a certain (and quite high) proportion of pregnancys are naturally aborted in the first month, without the woman even realising, by doing an early test you could just be setting yourself up for a fall, its better to wait when there is less risk of a mc and therefore less heartache at the end of it.

And i think your all crazy doing 7/8 tests, more money than sense me thinks????? lol! i did 2 with my dd i was 17 and my mother in law didnt believe me so had to do 2nd, but had only brought two coz they were on offer in tesco and two clear blue ones were cheaper than one (no i dont understand that either!!!!) but whatever turns you on, its probably just better to wait until your period is due and then the result will be for certain!!!

You are completely right of course Stacey. These are only cheap tests though off e bay. After the mc i got 20 for under a tenner.

M my test was faint that i was convinced i could see it but dh kept telling me there was nothing there...was though..lol I can understand about over testing cos of mc i have had 3 in past and even now with being 15wks and owning a doppler i get urge to test..lol
