And got a posotive result and if so how many days past ovulation. Just want to see if they actually work. Some reckon you can get a pos result as early as 3 days [cynicalface]

Easy to say Stacey but when you've mc and have been ttc for years it's difficult to believe that what you've been hoping and dreaming for has finally happened.

Nemo those evap lines are awfull. Only happened twice when ttcing but its heartbreaking.

only 8 dpo / at least 12 dpo - sorry what does this mean? 8 days past ovulation?

i have a 25 day cycle, started 3rd June, finished 8th June, due on this Saturday and had full sex 10th June.

I have been on other threads complaining of queasiness and tiredness but today I have had a few tummy feelings that I normally get before periods. I am trying to resist buying another test (buy them every month) but if I gave in I might get an early test. how would I work out my date of conceptio, can it be up to four days after sex?... sorry of I sound stupid

You can test using any test from the first day of your next cycle, you are day 25 today aren't you? So due on today/tomorrow?

If you have a 25 day cycle you prob ovulate early as in maybe around day 11 or 12. So as long as you bd (baby dance, make love, have sex) around those days you should be ok. Work out when you ovulated to see how many days past that you are.

If you ov'd on the 11th day (14th June) you would be 14 dpo today.

So could poss get an pos result especially with an early test. Good Luck xxxx

Sorry me agin BUT Love cloud saw your post on the other thread. Go onto e bay for your tests. its 79 pence for 3.They are basic hospital dip tests

Lovecloud - If your last AF (CD1) was 03/06/05... and you're due on Sat 02/07/05 then that's a 29 day cycle.

it is so annoying, I always give in and go spend £8 only to be disappointed, spend the night thinking it might be wrong and then go and spend another £8 the next day AHHHHHHHHH! I should just buy a pack of 2 but always think, well if i am pregnant, the second will be a waste.

i cant beleive how patient i am being by ordering them off the internet and waiting rather than running down the highstreet now.

peeing on a stick! (cos it's what we TTC girls do best!) if it's not peeing for when u ovulate it's peeing to see if u're PG so either way we all pee a lot!

i can understand the feeling of trying to get pg after mc as i did but i still cant understand doing early tests when it can lead for such a downfall, the way i see it its better to wait longer and know that the pregnancy will progress hopefully without any problems, rather than thinking you are and getting upset over an early mc. sorry just my opinion

stacey i like to know early because having had 3mcs they were all my babies 2 of them were at 6wks and 7wks last one was missed mc at 15wks baby died at 9wks. So yes it is upsetting but it is still my baby i have lost iykwim.

I ended up using the ebay tests as it was costing a fortune then after 2 positives on them i will go and spend on clearblue digi...the other thing is always do twin pack cos u dont stop testing..lol
