Stokke Sleepi Care changing station - all its money?

We need a new changing station for #2 (due Oct). The vinyl on DD's M&P one is ripping at the edges and exposing the sponge beneath which makes it unwipedownable (IYKWIM) and therefore less than hygenic. The Stokke version looks the part and the fact that it can be used for other things in the future appeals, but is it really worth all that dosh? No-one sells Stokke/TrippTrapp at any redution, so before we shell out I'd be grateful for recommendations/warnings. Thanks.

Very odd to bring up an 17 month old thread to do it on as well!

may be a troll expecting a lot of commission from a certain item and who happens to have all the details very handy

how queer, indeed

WigWamBam · 25/10/2004 14:52

lovebird appears to be Scandinavian, from another thread. Perhaps something got lost in the translation?

PicadillyCircus · 25/10/2004 14:52

Did a search and found one other message from her - pregnant with first child.

She was talking about socialbility of children and saying that she is Scandanavian and that their education system is better.

elliott · 25/10/2004 14:53

I remember edgarcat!! but the typing has gone downhill since then....

WigWamBam · 25/10/2004 14:53

She does say she was an unsociable child

captainCOD · 25/10/2004 15:08

where is she?
i cant find her

WigWamBam · 25/10/2004 15:10

captainCOD · 25/10/2004 15:11

WigWamBam · 25/10/2004 15:13

If not a troll then very odd.

stickynote · 25/10/2004 15:16

Don't think she's a troll, her post reads like it's translated IYSWIM.

Suspect she could be related to the inventors of Stokke/TrippTrapp though...

WigWamBam · 25/10/2004 15:21

Still no need to be so rude though, is there?

And why have a go at edgarcat (who just says no need for changing station) rather than LucieB who actually slags off the Stokke? (totally legitimately by the sound of it)

And bbbh WAS asking for opinions (or oppinion)

stickynote · 25/10/2004 15:26

It's certainly a very odd post [puzzled emoticon].

pixiefish · 25/10/2004 15:34

Have asked HQ to have a look.
