maxybrown · 13/07/2009 11:17

DS will get a garage and some MORE cars but that will be it. Garage will be second hand too but he will be happy. £40 maximum spend in this house

nicolamumof3 · 13/07/2009 11:38

BexieID · 13/07/2009 11:40

Nothing wrong with 2nd hand.

I need to do a toy cull before the baby comes. Have already decided to sell the Vtech Smartville stuff. Have it all except the ark set! And I bought it all, so don't feel so bad in selling it Just need to get organised.

Was supposed to be taking a pee sample to health centre today, but I forgot when I peed alot earlier . Now I just do trickles, lol. Will have to do it in the morning now.

sweetkitty · 13/07/2009 11:51

I buy DD1 second hand Bratz dolls now, they are 99p on ebay and immaculate, I cannot believe I used to pay £15 for them new, she pulls their clothes on and off and wrecks them.

5inthebed · 13/07/2009 12:09

So sorry to hear about your MIL SK. My FIL died last year and I can remember how hard it is to tell the kids. Maybe have a little photo of her ready for them, as I know DS1 asked for one straight away.

DH's aunty passed away on Friday, but we knew she was on her way out. She was given 3 hours on Wednesday, but hung on in there, the little fighter! She was in her 80's.

Mutsy is fab. Heavier than what I thought it would be, but great. Seat really high, which is what I wanted and really easy to use. So far so good

Happy birthday Luka!!! xxxx

Dis, do you still want to do that thing? I have til Wednesday to do it.

Afternoon!

SK I'm sorry to hear your news. Must be terrible shock to you all.

I'm sat catching up on the thread eating Thorntons chocs. Waited till ds1 had nodded off befre though. Am I being selfish?

Happy Birthday Luka!

Going to put the stickers on the Zapp this afternoon and then it wil be ready for the hols.

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/07/2009 13:41

OK I can't cope.
Bathroom cleaned, dishwasher emptied and filled, washing hung up, litter tray cleaned, parcel posted, courier collected, tidying attempted, nursery runs done, lunch done etc
BUT I am still snowed under with chores and my head is throbbing thinking about it and the two little ones are either fighting or trashing something.
No biscuits
No butter to make cake
£1.96 in my purse.

My apologies to all of you with real problems.

horsemadgal · 13/07/2009 14:12

FlyMe, don't worry about the chores.
So far all I have done is put on a washing, it's still in there waiting to be hung up.
I did manage a trip to the library though and B&M's.
Wow I'm in heaven they had 3 Creme Eggs for 39p and bars of Bournville Old Jamaica for 99p. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
I recommend chocolate, gets you through the day.

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/07/2009 14:34

I have given up on the housework now and am sitting at the table MNibg and eating rich teas[the only biscuit available and they aren't even McVitie's] dunked in tea.
DDs are in their room dancing to Boney M and no doubt trashing at the same time. Little multi taskers!

claret1980 · 13/07/2009 14:50

I have not managed to do anything all this time. Gotta go get dd very soon. Soon it will be the school hols, my house will never be tidy!

Disenchanted3 · 13/07/2009 14:51

BexieID · 13/07/2009 15:18

Sorry to hear that dis, hope you're feeling better soon.

All i've done today is some washing up. Sooo tired and managed to have a wee nap, but Tom was jumping on me most of the time . He has sore lips but won't let you put cream on, wants it wiped off, lol.

Just eaten 2nd bag of Nik Naks today! Need to pick up Toms cars off the floor but he goes balistic when I do!

the best pushchair i had for a buggyboard was my nipper, it is very light but does not fold one hand. i don't think you will get one hand fold that works well with a buggyboard. i didn't like the board on either my maclaren xt or quest. something with a solid handle bar where they can slot their heads under the bar so you are still in pretty much same pushing position is best. plus the air tyres make for an easier push if you are walking that far daily.

bexie put the lip cream on when he's sleeping.

BexieID · 13/07/2009 16:23

Thats what we have been doing, but he's constantly whinging about his lips!

ninja · 13/07/2009 16:45

Starlight - can you put baby starlight in a sling while you fold? Doesn't solve your puschair problem though, I'll leave that to the experts!!

5inthebed · 13/07/2009 16:57

Eek Starlight! I've got an autistic 3 year old and a 7 month old, so feel your pain! I've got a Baby Jogger City Mini, and that folds really easily, ideal for us and buses, but not sure about buggyboard though. COuld you not use a littlelife backpack on your DS?

Anybody want to buy a pair of Nike Rift trainers? Size 4.5. Bought them today, and had them on all of 5 mins, but they are just the tiniest bit too small, which sucks as the 5.5 are too big Paid £35 for them just today.

Hope you feel better soon Dis

Hope you all feel better soon Dis.

Starlight I had a buggyboard on the XT and found it good but I am 5'8 ish.

My feet are a 6 5in. So no use for the trainers here either.
