nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2009 22:25

maxybrown · 10/07/2009 22:26

hoorah!

sweetkitty · 10/07/2009 22:32

Evening ladies finally took Infinity out for a push and love it, DD3 was like a princess in her chariot, sitting hanging off her bumper bar.

it's her first night in her own bedroom tonight so think we will in for a long night

nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2009 22:38

thats nice SK glad she liked it. hope you manage to sleep ok.

wonder where i can get hold of old maclaren accessories? you used to be able to buy a volo accesorry pack thats what im after now!

JigglyPiggy · 10/07/2009 22:40

sorry dis got carried away elsewhere!

I'm not sure whether to go for an all black set i.e. seat unit, carrycot etc or try and get a red seat unit to go with the red carrycot & hood I already have as I don't have the black hood?

Im also watching a green set

Disenchanted3 · 10/07/2009 22:40

ask if they would ship?

nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2009 22:53

says specifically that they would NOT ship outside of US so i won't ask. Terry's friend over from boston next week for wedding but i don't think it would arrive in time. that is just what im looking for as well

lecohen · 11/07/2009 00:03

Thanks for letting me know Flyme x

BexieID · 11/07/2009 06:25

Right, MIL is deffo after another buggy, lol. I did suggest we goto the Glasgow pram centre when we're all back from holidays to have a play. She quite liked the cdrive . Was thinking a cheap Nipper 360, MB or maybe a BJCM even? That Infinity would have been ideal . They nearly got a Micralite and were looking at prams that were £300, but don't think they want to spend much.

sal1309 · 11/07/2009 06:27

good morning all.

im staying at a friends over the weekend as dhe are doing nothing about my house and dr recons dd is coughing due to dust im so angry. the whole loft is wet through and apparetnly one of the other bits is close to falling down and all they want to do is board the hole up and let my daughter go back into the room and it stinks

although we can move to another 2 bed at our own cost why should it cost us its not our fault and to be honest i dont want to move i like my house. Its having a massive effect on dd.

sorry to rant guys hope all the pushchair/buying and selling is going ok

nicolamumof3 · 11/07/2009 07:25

Sal im not surprised you need to rant its just not on is it.

we are all ok here i think, all the boys now seem to be coming out with coughs/colds. nursery and school have confirmed cases of swine flue so who knows?! as long as we are all ok for next week.

Inlaws arrive today for a week

sal1309 · 11/07/2009 08:03

omg about swine flu hope your all better soon not long to the wedding now.

nicolamumof3 · 11/07/2009 08:24

no a week today!

tbh sal i think i had last week, i can't see what the fuss is all about its no worse than flu as far as i've been told, so unless you have respiratory problems or compromised immune system?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/07/2009 08:26

Nicola I hope you all keep well.
I got an accessory pack on ebay for a volo. It too cost more tham the pushchair.

MamaG · 11/07/2009 08:33

Morning all. anyone fancy a challenge?! I need a "car pram" and here are my requirements :-

Needs to umbrella fold (or fold reasonably small)

I don't like teeny wheels as we are pretty rural where we are and not always pavements!

Needs to be able to hand a big baby (at 8 months old he's over 2 stone and HV said big babies often don't walk until they're 18 months, so its going to need to be a strong pram!!)

Needs to be really cheap (of course!)

If you can recommend something that ticks all the boxes, I could keep looking for one on ebay

SparklyGothKat · 11/07/2009 08:38

The mircalite toro MamaG

carrielou2007 · 11/07/2009 09:18

Morning all.

Sal I would be going loop the loop about it if it were my house and my dd so rant away!!

Nicola have replied to your want - I have a hood!!

I bought a bugaboo board the other day, has anyone ever tried the boo seat?? Are they worth it for dd to sit on long/rainy journeys or are they just a waste of money!!

Maxy are you sure I can't tempt you with my silvercross linear freeway?? It is lovely but now I have the bug again it is hiding under the bed in the spare room.

ninja · 11/07/2009 09:20

The toro's expensive tho' you can get the fastfold cheap but it doesn't go very flat

maxybrown · 11/07/2009 09:33

lol carrie, been there already!!! But I do like them how much out of interest??

carrielou2007 · 11/07/2009 09:35

I paid 51 and had to collect so 55 - criminal isn't it?? I can't justify it though and I can't use a buggy board for dd or push it one handed.
