morning all sunshine here for a change too just going to hang washing out, I have so much ironing though have been ignoring it

nicola - good luck with the wedding prep things

maxy - no rush don't worry about it

Has it all gone quiet on the pram buying front then?

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2009 08:39

yes it has for me!!

im looking out for a volo but want one mega cheap or i will try and raise funds for a bn one. or maybe something similar.

im starting to panic how luka will cope all day at wedding without sleep (he doesn't sleep in pushchair) til late at night. but im sure it will be fine. starting to right lots of lists!!

i have rest of toms evening outfit to get. where can i get plain white socks for boys? maybe gap? ummm i have ribbon to get, thank you cards for best man, parents etc. quite a bit. then we are going to cash and carry to buy soft drinks paper plates etc for evening.

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/07/2009 08:40

Have a great day!

5inthebed · 09/07/2009 09:15

No sunshine here It's horrible, going to rain later no doubt.

Have a fun day wedding shopping Nicola. Don't panic about Luka, if he is really tired, he will sleep! I thought the same about Aaron when we went to a wedding once, and he did crash out in a pram.

Hiya Lecohen, she did but paypal funds are on hold so I can't post it,

I was happy to sell ot of ebay for cheaper, I emailed her and told her so?!

Do you think she would leave a + feedback so Ive got funds to pay? I bought something last night so its empty and cant transfer funds from bank.

Its immaculate I know she'll have no complaints

x

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 09:18

not to pay, funds to post I mean.

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:05

so I understand...you want her to leave you a positive so you can get the funds? If you are having a prob with feedback, put on a 99p item and I'll do BIN and leave you feedback

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:07

she prob didn't want to risk losing the item so just did BIN

fannybanjo · 09/07/2009 10:13

Hi ladies - is anyone interested in a Dinkysnuggle in cow print (excellent condition) hardly used - same as this one for £15 inc postage? I will put it on the classifieds but I lurk on this thread and thought someone might be interested! Only used it for DD3 and it has hardly been used.

I take paypal. Have 100% feedback on ebay too!

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:14

i need about 30 more sellers feedback brfore i can sell without funds held you see.

my feed back is 49, but 39 are buying ones, lol.

only sold 10 items.

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:19

how long do funds get held for? I think she will def leave feedback when she receives as long as all is good

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:20

oh i see, you have to send first...bummer!

carrielou2007 · 09/07/2009 10:23

Have we not all been here before?? Whilst I agree how unfair this silly system is with ebay/paypal we've all had to go through it as you have to if you want to sell on ebay.

I recently had this with an item I bought and though I had paid for the item the seller would not post it. I did not get my item and I had to wait to open a dispute to get my money back.

I do not agree with this system but of course I also had to go through it myself if I wanted to continue selling on ebay.

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:25

Yea thats what I mean, the funds are held till she leaves feedback,

she should have bough off ebay and just paypaled me! lol

If she bought off ebay though like she wanted to then there wouldn't have been feedback to leave iykwim??

or she can wait till i sell something on mumsnet and just get funds.?

Sorry, its a pita, I hate ebay!

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:30

maybe she felt safer to buy through ebay for the sake of £5 extra...I don't know her personally, just through communication through selling the pink infinity, she seems really nice though.

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:31

lecohen,

would she cancel the transaction on ebay, she'll get her money back, the ebay sale will be void, then just resend it through paypal?

then i can get it sent today?

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:33

please ask her as don't know...personally I wouldn't do that...why can't you just send it to her now?

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:36

because the money is frozen in paypal

and theres no other money in there,

ive sold a million things on here, whats with the 'personally i wouldn't do that?'

i asked her to buy it on mumsnet so she could get it quicker.

she'll just have to wait till i can post it, when i get some money in paypal or the bank.

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:38

Didn't mean that to sound funny, but your making out like im trying to pull a funny one when im just explaining that i wanted her to buy it off mumsnet so i could post it today with free funds.

i just thought it would be easier for her to just scrap ebay and do it the easy way??

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:44

i meant I wouldn't do that if I bought an item on ebay and a seller asked to cancel..."I" would do it if you asked me as we talk on here

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:45

like I said, I don't know her personally

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:46

Yes but it wasn't supposed to be an ebay sale,

its not her fault, i panic when i want something too

I get some money on monday so will send it on then x

Disenchanted3 · 09/07/2009 10:46

Oh right, I though the was your mate, lol, d'oh.

lecohen · 09/07/2009 10:49

lol...sometimes the written word comes out not as intended.

JigglyPiggy · 09/07/2009 12:07

morning everyone.

I have finally got round to playing with the frog this morning and have it set up now with a blue carrycot and a 'baby boy' fleece hood. Its fab being able to change it so quickly!

As I am liking it so much I have decided 6 pushchairs in the house is far too many so 3 have to go.

If anyone is interested in the zapp, cheap loola or urban life (sob, i love the urban chassis!) then give me a shout as I am going to stick it all back on for sale later.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine today as there is'nt much here!
