1000 replies

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 10:08

Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

I was gonna take it, but then you said LG&T offered you the full price and I felt bad saying 'no, I want it' when you could have gotten more iykwim?

Thats the only reason I said that she could have it.

I'd still really like it but now the infinities got here i really like it so am thining I may keep that and quest?

5inthebed · 02/07/2009 12:04

Don't worry about it Dis. Typically, I went to bed at 10 last night, and you replied at 10 past 10. Normally I'm uptil after 11, but had a splitting head. Nothing that could have been helped, although maybe you could have replied to my email earlier rather than leaving a reply on my post.

Glad you like the infinity. Is the seat higher than a Bugaboo?

Urgh james doing my nut in too! This heat wow! Right, well, firstly I never understand why they ahve nice big wheels then two piddlin things. i always find myslef staring at them in the street....maybe they remind me of pushing an old friend around in his wheelchair...no offence anyone!!! i just mean with the small and big wheel thing. BUT I have to say, i find myself fancying them more and more.

Dis - I THINK I have emailed about that pushchair but didn't hear back. Looks nice too

Jiggly i am in Manchester area.

ninja · 02/07/2009 12:21

5inthebed I am still looking for a rear facing one so might still be interested although you seemed to have so much interet I thought that it had gone.

Would I want that rather than a Mutsy or a Vigour?

You lot are the experts (and I have to say you're all a bit mad swapping buggies all the time)

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:39

5in, i was out all yesterday at my parents so di not recieve your email so couldn't have replied any earlier, i only came on MN because of babies rash and saw the message there on 'threads im on', so replied. I didn't see your email till about 11:30 last night.

Am fed up

I love the infinity but its got no bloody hood.

bastards.

unless you use the carrycot hood on the buggy??

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:40

no just seen you don't

shit

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:41

Ive got no chance of finding a heartbreaker hood.

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:46

Hauck just said they will see if they have any heartbreaker ones but will be £18

plus £16 for raincover from ebay,

bargain is slipping away, lol.

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:47

But she says she doesn't think so,

DH is phoning seller ...

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 12:50

Ah that's shitty, even for cheap they should mention these things. I HATE that! Grrrrr.

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:52

Hes just txt me back and hes got it there

forgot to put it in

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 12:54

phew good!

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/07/2009 12:55

Yeah thats crap Dis.

sal1309 · 02/07/2009 12:55

afternoon all hope your all well

well ive got loads of stuff going off ebay tonight so hopefully some of it will sell

maxy my daughter is a sep baby she starts funded nursery in jan as well. As far as im aware she will be in preschool till the sept she is five as they only do one intake here which is sept, some places ared differebnt think it all depends on your area.

jiggly i prefer my zia over the zapp i had think purly for the fact it reclines but i only use it for hols and boot of the car

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 12:58

Can i get your opinions on raincovers for the infinity,

there are 3 on ebay ... which would you get??

official infinity one, £18.50, but in pic looks a bit crap??

zipped universal one £16.50

or this one nearly £19!

bloody expensive aren't they??

pebbles79 · 02/07/2009 13:05

I'd probably go for the zipped universal one although I think you could get it cheaper than that. I have the 3rd one you listed but they are expensive.

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 13:07

does it fit well pebbles, the one you have?

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 13:08

oooh think ill get this one!

pebbles79 · 02/07/2009 13:09

Yep, it fits really well.

I wouldn't get that other one, I think it's a con and will look nothing like the one in the pic!

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/07/2009 13:12

ah you got it Dis good.
Maxy just read your post about schools. DDs 2 and 3 are both sept babies and DD3 is going to nursery in this sept but will not be funded until Jan.
DD2 is starting school this sept. yay
Primary school children have to begin school in the school year in which they are 5 and the cut off date here is for birthdays up till the end of august. So Both my DDs will be starting primary as they turn 5.
Which means: Quite a long time in nursery and they will be amongst the oldest in the class [this is often seen as an advantage].
Hope that helps.

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/07/2009 13:15

Nicola i have emailed you about the senditnow booking. Ta!

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 13:15

Ah yes of course Dunoon thanks! So he will be in nursery longer. Fab I was so chuffed when she said that he could go in the January

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 13:19

maxy i don't know about school nurserys im afraid as we don't have any of those here. most pre schools/nurseries are either private or run in church halls/community centre.

Tate goes to one at church over road 4 mornings a week, which will change to afternoons in september because of his age. Luka will start their in september for two mornings so lots of nursery runs in september!

Tate then starts school Sept 2010 he will be five in the December. Whereas luka will go Sept 2011 and will have just turned four! as they now only do one intake/

dunoon emailed you back about senditnow booking!

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 13:23

Yes I am only used to one intake, but when i lived in Plymouth they did 3 then dropped it to 2 but I have never worked at a school with a nursery until moving back up here and we just had the one intake in Sept so he would have been practically 4 when starting! As it is it works out fab!

Bit of a pain for you that morning afternoon businees isn't it?

Nicola how much will first wheels be on it's own did you say? I really don't do parasols...i would me too tempted to do something eveil with it in times of stress (has raincover I presume?)....plenty of room in seat and around feet when a rear facer?
