Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

urgh, i want to burn all my buggies tonight

im having another buggy meltdown

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 03/07/2009 21:40

5inthebed my Dh always says that if they are too cold they will let you know about it (unlike when they are too hot and can get drowsy) so I would just leave him unless he wakes up by himself.

Love GAP kids sale, full price WAY WAY too expensive. The pjs are great.

I know cream is the most impractical colour in the world with kids but it just looks fun, also I am the person who bought a cream sofa 2 months before the first DC arrived.

ooh largeginandtonic Gecko with a pink underseat bag and pink hood, pink spotty liner too....im sooo jealous!
xxxx

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:43

they are lovely those next ones, luka had the animal ones on last night. we are lucky this old house (victorian) is pretty cool.

i would leave him 5in if anything pull window too a bit when you go to bed is he still sleeping through?

luka's back in pj's tonight think it was about 26c today so a bit cooler than the 32c we've been having he's just in shorty pj's but no covers he lies on top of duvet. tate is in shorty pj's under his 4tog duvet he's hot but likes it like that! just like his dad who's an oven. i blame it on those hot kitchens he works in he NEVER gets hot.

I have a cream leather suite, bought when ds2 was 6 weeks old. Not the smartest of moves, but it is still going strong.

I always laugh at the chavs I see pushing those cream leather emmaljunga prams with the huge lacy cosietoes. Get a proper pram!

Urgh, no Nicola. He managed 4 nights going 11.5 hours but was "awake" last night for most of it. Think I managed about 2 hours sleep!

He is sound asleep now, but for how long, who knows! I'll have to have an early night tonight just incase.

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:47

you know when i was ill at w/end so ill i couldn't move, raging temp, aching limbs and violent sickness....how am i to know whether that was swine flu? also breathing was awful really bad i collapsed monday on landing.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/07/2009 21:49

I thought the Gap sale was quite good. the reductions were impressive but they did not have a sunhat with a brim or a light cotton baby blanket which is what I was looking for.
I got two reduced baby blankets for DDs 2and3 to sleep under from Pumpkin Patch.
They are under duvets agin tonight though.

babydrip · 03/07/2009 21:49

have you seen this?
here

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:50

alot cooler down here today eh dunoon its nicely warm today. i like it about 25c thats about right!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/07/2009 21:50

Read a description of another MNetters swine flu and it included difficulty breathing.
Ring NHS direct or go to dr for a test?
Or is it nothing to worry about

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:51

yep saw that babydrip fab in netherlands not sure where you would actually use it here tho! great idea tho.

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:52

i know dunoon thats what i was thinking? the kids have had slight colds but not really flu, not ill like i was?

maxybrown · 03/07/2009 21:52

I wouldn't be worried Nic, no more than if you had "flu"

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 21:53

no im not, i can't understand all the 'frenzy' over it tbh? or am i missing something?

babydrip · 03/07/2009 21:54

babydrip · 03/07/2009 21:56

nicola do you suffer with asthma?....have you been in contact with anyone whose been to mexico recently etc...the symptoms are very sim to general flu...so hard to diagnose....

maxybrown · 03/07/2009 21:57

No I'm with you Nicola. Right I'm off, watching a film now nighty night x

pebbles79 · 03/07/2009 21:58

TBH, there's alot of hype about it and although it obviously makes you really ill, it's really no worse that ordinary flu. People die from flu everyday but it's normally those in at risk groups (elderly, ill).

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/07/2009 22:00

Ok gals I am headed for bed after my 5.45 alarm call this am:
DDs 2and3 locked themselves in the bathroom and were making 'potions' I think the sound of the door locking woke me up and I knew straight away what it could mean so I leapt up and hammered on the door. DD2 drops her potion on the floor, unlocks door and they both bolt.
ALL toys confiscated.

And do you know they have been happy as Larry today playing on the emty storage units.Obviously they don't need all those toys.

Disenchanted3 · 03/07/2009 22:00

Just fed up with them and keep getting in trouble with DH.

I hate bloody buggies.

I'll love the BJCM and really like the infinity but its big and am having bugaboo envy but dun want me bee. Its loony.

babydrip · 03/07/2009 22:00
