I didn't think it would be, the others are all other customer ones but it's the only the lady with the squares who's selling at the mo will keep an eye on my board though as quite a few of us have Skate liners.

Right after getting completely drowned yesterday, I want a rain cover for my Mac xlr that goes over the hood too!!!! This wasn't just rain we were in yesterday, it was a whole cloud emptying directly onto us I think!

Someone on the bus had an obaby pink thing, but raincover looked good, it covered whole of pushchair (like Nipper rain cover) but didn't have a frame, still just a pack up cover.

So - help me please!

My lovely DH collected a P&T Vibe for me last night

Spent a while cleaning and freshening it up and it looks FAB! Just need to try it out today and see how we get along with it, not sure if it'll be suitable for them really but thought I'd give it a try.

I've got four buggies for the DT's now I've got the Icandy Pear, the First Wheels Twin, the ABC Everest with toddler seat and now the Vibe, so I have one for every occasion now I think

mamamila · 11/06/2009 09:38

hi balamorybaby can i ask why you chose the vibe?

i'm thinking of a p&t for newborn and 2yr dd but have no idea of differences between sport/ dash and vibe models

5inthebed · 11/06/2009 09:43

John Lewis have them cheaper, and they come in a little mesh carry pouch.

I've seen some in Tescos as well, for about £10 that have flowers on for a girl and fish on for a boy.

Morning all seems like it is Bee day today

maxybrown · 11/06/2009 10:10

thanks 5in

Balamorybaby · 11/06/2009 10:12

mamamila The main reason I chose the vibe is because I liked the idea of being able to fold it with the doubles seat still attatched, we've got six children so space in the car is limited and I don't like having different parts of the pushchair all over the car.

Other considerations for me were:

I prefer the strap recline mechanism on the vibe to the zip reclines on the sport
The proper sun-hood which gives great coverage and can be positioned anywhere on the frame as it slides up/down freely
The handlebar break on the vibe is so much easier for me than the foot brake on the sport, I found it really hard to do on the sport.

I don't know much about the Dash other than the recall regarding the handlebar problem so that put me off buying s/hand dash's.

HTH

5in is your BJCM one of the ones on e-bay, thought id take a look at the pics if it is?

5inthebed · 11/06/2009 10:59

Yup, here. Have decided will only sell it if mac doesn't sell. I have 20 watchers on mac and 29 on bjcm! Mac finishes on Saturday, so should be able to let you know then.

buggylovinmummy · 11/06/2009 11:01

OK no problem

Disenchanted3 · 11/06/2009 11:34

Hello girls,

well took skate for a ride, don't think I'll keep as bee is here today, its lovely to push but don't see the point in keeping if I have bee as bee does pretty much the same but is more compact.

Going to put it on forsale for sale or swap, see whats about!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 11/06/2009 11:35

dis i would love to try skate if i had a smaller baby. shame you don't like hun? i think all you need is bee and maybe a smaller stroller for ds? as bee does everything you need doesn't it? or do you want air tyres for walking?

nicolamumof3 · 11/06/2009 11:36

need to arrange collection of 4seasons thought someone would have had it for that price but there you go! want to order a replacement so will see when they can pick up.

Disenchanted3 · 11/06/2009 11:40

Nic its bigger seat than infiity i would say & ds2 (3) fits in.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 11/06/2009 11:46

Oh dear Dis. I love the Skate. Its a nice pram to push, and I love the floating harness. How much will you be selling it for? Are you just wanting back what you paid for it?

Disenchanted3 · 11/06/2009 11:47

yup. just what i paid x
