Nicola the outside of the Breen footmuff, is it brown or dark green?

nicolamumof3 · 06/06/2009 14:18

brown norma.

NormaSknockers · 06/06/2009 14:26

Hmmmm, so want Sulphur one but they are like gold dust....love the lining of the Breen footmuff but not sure the brown will look right against the black of my covers.

Disenchanted3 · 06/06/2009 14:28

FWIW I wouldn't put brown,

what about iron?

NormaSknockers · 06/06/2009 14:32

Nah I have an aqua Kaiser on my BJ & a turquoise Snunkie on my Skate so really want a break from blue & fancy green.

I just don't think the brown will look right

nicolamumof3 · 06/06/2009 15:32

i wonder if luka will be happier in a rear facer? or would he look ridiculous at nearly 2yrs old?

maxybrown · 06/06/2009 15:39

Nicola I don't think he will look ridiculous, but they start getting so heavy....even my skinny DS! I have always had a rear facer, but just recently gave up as can't really get what I want in a rear facer and I've had so many I've given up with the weight! The only one he was fine in was silver cross classic - I had both classic and linear. Linear was easier to get around with but classic a comfier ride, although in itself is a very heavy pram.

nicolamumof3 · 06/06/2009 15:43

i can't do heavy, im so used to the nipper, maybe he doesn't like sitting back so far, i wonder what he'll be like back in the maclaren? maybe he's just an awkward sod.

maxybrown · 06/06/2009 15:53

lol....I know, that's the problem with having a Nipper, it is too light and so everything else seems heavy! I think they should make it face both ways

nicolamumof3 · 06/06/2009 15:54

perfecto!

maxybrown · 06/06/2009 16:01

this

Disenchanted3 · 06/06/2009 16:09

Shame its fixed wheel, doesn't say weight.

Put a snipe on buzz 4 would prefer it in Strawberry but can always get strawberry stuff later on if I like it.

Now got to sell some buggies!! lol!!

The wheel on the platon apparently tilts as you turn corners....I nearly got this one ages ago, long before I got Nipper. That seller is fancying their chance though as they go for lot less generally. Around £50 mark tops from what I've seen. I'd like to try one out of interest.

NormaSknockers · 06/06/2009 16:36

If you do win it Dis keep an eye on BV as they sell just the Buzz seat units for £49.99 on BIN & often have the Strawberry ones

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/06/2009 16:39

Nicola remember I had dd in a rear facer when she was just over two-Vigour. She enjoyed it and it was much easier to chat and sing along.
I didn't find the weight a problem, she is small though.
Saw someone in town earlier with air tyres on their vigour.

NormaSknockers · 06/06/2009 16:44

Not ridiculous at all Nicola DD faced me right up until she went into the P&T when DS was born.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/06/2009 16:45

I would love another rear facer.
Talking to a toddler in a pushchair is so awkward.

nicolamumof3 · 06/06/2009 16:52

thinking of ordering this? opinions please ladies

Disenchanted3 · 06/06/2009 17:35

Not worth nearly £300, think it would be hard to resell anywhere near once used.

yes i know looking at s/hand now. need to try rear facer first, am thinking i will hate the weight distribution tbh. so think he will just have to stick to screaming head off in pushchair!!!

NormaSknockers · 06/06/2009 17:43

bump Lucy at Snunkie is trying all osrts of hoods now, she's recently done a Buzz hood & is going to testing out a Maclaren hood soon.

Nicola I would go for 2nd hand too, I've not heard/read great reviews on First Wheels tbh but they do look nice.

Disenchanted3 · 06/06/2009 17:45
