Nicola, I knew you would be back to wanting a Mac! You'll always be a Mac girl.

I want a rear facer! Got the BJCM for my lightweight pram (took it on train to Durham today and stored it in overhead luggage bit. FAB) and want a possibly bigger pram that'll be rear facing as DS3 likes to see me when we're out and about. What rear facing prams have we got at the minute?

nicolamumof3 · 29/05/2009 21:33

i really wanted a rear facer for so long 5in and then gave up as luka was getting too big, have you had a vigour?

claret1980 · 29/05/2009 21:38

I found the Vigour too big for me. Really want a BJCM!!!

5inthebed · 29/05/2009 21:40

Not had a vigour. That might be an option. Rear facers I've had

Chicco 4 me
Quinny Buzz
Icandy Apple
M&P Herbie

Will have a little look on Ebay. Would love a bugaboo, but funds won't stretch that far . There was one sold locally for £200ish pounds the other day on Ebay, wish I'd bid on it.

claret1980 · 29/05/2009 21:44

Had a Buzz, small, compact and ds2 love it. Would recommend it.

5inthebed · 29/05/2009 21:50

I had a buzz. The basket was too small IMO but was a nice pram. DS2 liked it.

Maybe I should save for a bugaboo?

pebbles79 · 29/05/2009 21:51

What kind of Bug do you fancy? How old is your LO?

nicolamumof3 · 29/05/2009 21:52

i think you should rent a bug 5in!

i want a mac 4 seasons (stamps foot as very impatient )

basl · 29/05/2009 21:53

5inthebed I think Bebecar do some rear facing. I had the stylo as my main pram and i sooooo loved it. My little boy is way too long for the pushchair part but i have always considered there new range. I loved the quality of the stylo and the suspension. I don't know if you have seen any of my other messages but i struggle to find anything that is a match. I am so sad my little boy was not in it for long as my little girl was and i love looking at her all the time. Surley they do a rear facing that is more for the older toddler???? You have me thinking now

carrielou2007 · 29/05/2009 21:54

I loved loved loved having dd facing me so had a few...

m and p ulitma with big buncy wheels though was my sisters so was 3 years old but lovely but a beast to store

Quinny buzz - not for me, ugly, heavy, terrible steering due to front wheel being small, though on paper has eveything I wanted.

Bugaboo cam - did everything I wanted, used it until dd was 2.

Bee - did everything I wanted on paper but in the flesh hated it, ugly, felt flimsy and rattly.

M andP can go failry cheap on ebay as mainly pick up only - I can't help but watch an ultima in ice (would get filthy!!) though I don't need a big pram it's on for 100 or best offer.

Silver cross linear or sleepover also very very good but very heavy.

mammychildminder · 29/05/2009 22:02

hi, so glad i found you ladies! my DH says i have a wierd obsession with pushchairs! but now ive found people like me to prove him wrong! haha. had 5 pushchairs so far for my 2.5 dd1 and now we are expecting dc2, its only fair he/she has a new buggy too. cant decide what to get though!

mammychildminder · 29/05/2009 22:02

what is a BJCM?

SparklyGothKat · 29/05/2009 22:05

5in there are a couple of bugaboo frogs on ebay atm for £225 or best offer

NormaSknockers · 29/05/2009 22:06

BJCM = Baby Jogger City Mini.

Certainly like minded folk here mammy, I've had about 40 prams since I had DD in 2005 but have calmed down quite a bit since I had DS

pebbles79 · 29/05/2009 22:14

I'm tame compared to alot of the ladies on here but have still had about 12 prams since my DD was born 16 months ago!

5inthebed · 29/05/2009 22:23

DS3 is only 6 months old, so loads of prams to choose from

I quite fancy a bugaboo, not sure which one though. When I was pregnant I thought I'd won a gecko on Ebay BN with bag and extra frame (for carrycot). I was snipped with seconds to go, and I cried for hours LOL.

I've had 9 prams since ds3 was born

SGK - will need to sell black mac to fund bugaboo. Still not sure I want to sell. Although...maybe I do

I'm totally in love with my Bee and I really didn't expect to be! It's just so light and easy to push and the basket it pretty big and easy to access too.

5inthebed · 29/05/2009 22:34

I looked at getting a Bee when I was pg. Stupidly went for the Chicco after DH pressured me to buy a pram. tosser

Decisions decisions....

I think Dis had one, but not sure if she "drove" it before she sold it.

Has anyone had a Mutsy 4rider?

basl · 29/05/2009 22:56

OMG NORMA i have just been talking about my love x 100000 for my bebecar about rearfacing and just out of interest i came across the ICON. It accom to 4 years and big basket no air tyres but if sim to my stylo i loved it. What do you think? similar price to bjce and i do love the bjcm but i find the recline a bit tricky and little bits about it not quite as i would like.

nicolamumof3 · 29/05/2009 22:56
