BOOOO,
None started new thread, so there you go

OP posts:
MrsMagooo · 02/05/2009 13:24

Now that I've found the BJ family I won't ever go back.

I've tried everything I wanted to try, got it all out my system & happy with my lot, why I don't really post anymore as not really chopping & changing like I used to & happy with my prams!

Made good money on my P&T so selling that & my BJCM got me the money to get my BJCE, a Strolli & treat our litle family to a night away in a hotel & tickets to Legoland!

Will get a black BJCM when I sell my Skate but that's it, I'm just having fin pimping everything with Snunkies & Poshbugs

Selling all my cow print P&T bits & bobs & that will pay for some new bits for the BJCE!

5inthebed · 02/05/2009 13:30

Hmm, tempted with the Kaiser, but will pass thanks. Need to keep my money for DS3's christening next weekend. Still need to pay for it lol.

I love the way you photo your prams MrsM. You should get a professional job with a pram company as usually the photos are crap. You show everything good about the pram.

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 13:31

good for you. i love my nipper so much, im quite happy with that and then an umbrella stroller of some kind, keep changing my mind as these seem to be my weakness. but for everyday pram nipper not going anywhere!

MrsMagooo · 02/05/2009 13:35

No worries 5in, if/when you do decide to get a footmuff the Kaisers are a fab fit for the BJCM & sit really well in them Hope your DSs Christening goes well - I spent the night before DSs icing 80 cupcakes PMSL!

LOL - I do tend to go photo crazy lol! I went to Mothercare the other week & they had the SC Halo set up so I got my phone out & took loads of pics for my friends lol!

I love photography & have done a few courses so go a little camera happy ROFL!

Glad you like the Nipper Nicola. The only stroller I like really is the XT but still prefer the BJCM over it.

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 13:40

i think your pics are lovely too!

right must get on with some housework now. been out all morning taking all three boys to get some crocs couldn't get the right sizes in the right colours so came back empty handed. must look at any more prams til i've sold some!!

basl · 02/05/2009 17:22

Oh no!!! i love the bjce but my hubby would go crazy. I have borrowed a friends Zia and it is great. Hubby loves it but he just will never understand why i need a baby jogger. He thinks the zia is perfectly fine but i think it is ok for nipping out but i walk everyday and hate that i don't have great suspension on my buggies that i have. The elite looks stunning but i don't know where i would find that sort of money. I can dream on.

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 17:33

you do need nice air tyres/suspension pushchair if you do alot of walking, nipper suspension not the best but it sort of glides along as it weighs so little

nappyaddict · 02/05/2009 18:25

I'm being good atm. It's one in, one out for me!

Pulse arriving within the next 30 mins

Diablo going hopefully Monday morning if I can get it cleaned up in time. Just gone to get it out of the boot to give it a quick clean up before the sun goes in as it doesn't need anything major at all and it's not there. Mum's taken it up the frigging woods with DS so will now be covered in thick mud and need a massive deep clean

maxybrown · 02/05/2009 18:37

Nicola I asked ya yesterday but I thinkit got lost in the millions of posts before you came back on, but have you done much off roading with the nipper? Wondered how the front wheel copes with it as have the fixed wheel at the min!

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 19:12

not offroading as such? well i've done across longish grass, sand, gravel etc. not any major mud or anything being the time of year. its really good i'd say, but won't be the most robust because of the lightness maybe?

mamadiva · 02/05/2009 20:13

Maxy I used the twin one with 2 3YO's in it going through the woods and I felt like it was going to tip when going over bumpy bits etc, it did'nt but because it's so light felt as though when it bumped up it was just going to keep going until they were flat on back

I'd get a heavier one for that kind of stuff but minor off roading go for it!
I loved my 03 Sport for that kind of stuff and you can pick them up mega cheap on EBAY.

MrsM I cannot believe how big the wee fella has gotten since the Ora pics

He is even cuter than before now he has the proper lil boy look!!!

And I love the Elite am v. that I don't have an excuse (or a child) to buy it for LOL.

claret1980 · 02/05/2009 20:48

Well the buzz didn't sell but the rest of the stuff did. Have relisted it so I'm hoping it goes and I can get my vigour 4.

Disenchanted3 · 02/05/2009 20:58

Hiya,

went to TK Maxx today and got a bowron skeepshin fleece for £16, its lovely.

How much would you expect to pay for mountain buggy 'Moss' covers, used twice, inc post? single one?

Thanks!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 21:09

oooh as new? i'd say 60-70?

the bowron's are lovely! bargain. i got a bn mb sheepskin to use, but its so lovely i can't use it! ridiculous isn't it!!!

Disenchanted3 · 02/05/2009 21:12

but its so lovely i can't use it! ridiculous isn't it!!!

lol yes

im selling double but almost bought another just to see them on it tomorrow, haha.

maxybrown · 02/05/2009 21:13

I have Nipper already and it's fab, but it's the fixed wheel....just wondered how the 360 compared really!

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 21:18

if you like the fixed off road i can't see the 360 on fixed would be all that different maxy? i'd give one a go! where you thinking of offroading?

i might get sheepskin out tomorrow i just don't want it to get ruined! the buggysnuggles are a bit more forgiving as liners!

mamadiva · 02/05/2009 21:32

I want a liner but funds wont allow it...

nicolamumof3 · 02/05/2009 21:34

the bowrons are great value if you can get to tkmaxx.

mamadiva · 02/05/2009 21:45

LOL Nicola I think TKMAXX Is one of teh few shops we do actually have here!

nappyaddict · 02/05/2009 22:01
