pmsl @ Dis so you are happy with the BJCM ?

SGK - cannot believe you have a number, you truly are a pramaholic, do I dare ask how much it cost??? (extremely nosy emoticon)

I want a Bee now but want to keep my Luna and have a Bee

5inthebed · 08/05/2009 22:08

You're lucky SGK! I bet it is lovely, we need photos!

Dis, glad you like your BJCM. LOL @ your DH putting it in the bin and locking you out.

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:18

think they are 450 SK,

I know, i think the neighbours think we are nutters.

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 22:25

Have any of you been embarrassed to get another pushchair in anticipation of the comments you will get from acquaintances?

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 22:26

will take pics tomorrow, as I am sooo tired after driving into london, picking up bee, going to DS1's appointment and driving home...

Glad the covers arrived Dis, I know there is no fading now... I sorted them out, they were faded

The denim bees are £459, there was 50 made exclusive for selfridges. I love it!!!

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 22:28

i only use the Cam at the school FMTTD as then no-one knows about my addiction unless they see me out and about with something else lol

sal1309 · 08/05/2009 22:28

sgk bet the bee is lovely. hope your ds's appointment went ok and everything is ok

dis what have you got now? have you changed again lol

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:32

my FIL is the worst

he keeps offering me therapy

and he only see about 1/5 of my buggies, ha.

it is embaressing, especially opening the door to mr DHL again and again.

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:33

thanks SGK

bjcm & single MB sal.

got really good price for MB, ds will have a great birthday

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 22:35

Its putting me off getting a breen.
Pretty high vis pushchair.
If it was a grey mac I don't know if anyone would notice.

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 22:42

My DHL man keeps asking if I am sending anything when he arrives with another parcel (though have been very good until today lol)

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 22:44

Ds1's appointment went ok, they want to do another MRI on his spine now as they think he has some nerve damage on his spine, which is affecting his bowel, he has cerebral palsy so we are used to things being diagnosed now..

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 22:45

My DHL men are very terse polish blokes. They don't seem to do conversation.

The funniest is when something arrives only to go again a couple of days later.

Oh that reminds me- do you ever leave the package outside for DHL man to pick up if you have to go out?

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:47

no, i leave with a neighbour and put o note on my dopor saying which house.

too risky,

Hope the next scan goes ok sgk, when is it? do you have to wait along time inbetween?

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 22:50

No wonder you are tired SGK.

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 22:52

They are asking for it to be done locally as I can't keep doing the journey into london, its too much with Ds1 and Ds2 and wondering who will pick up the girls etc... so not sure how long it will be until the scan. Ds1 has had 3 MRIs in his life so this is something we are used to..

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:57

Bloody heck, I'm not surprised, its a massive journey, its stressful enough without all that travelling I imagine.

I would watch them for you in a heartbeat if we lived closer, your kids are gorgeous

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 22:58

oh, btw does anyone know where to get single mb bumper bar?

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 23:01

They are sold fairly readily on MB sites for £20 or try ebay. I got mine from Cargirl.

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 23:02

aww thanks Dis... yours are lovely too

It is a lot to deal with, but I get on with it because I have to IYKWIM. I requested the scan at the local hospital as I hate travelling into London, either by train, car or taxi.. I normally get a taxi for Ds1's appointment from the hospital but they refused today saying Ds1 doesn't need it... I was disgusted tbh as he has cerebral palsy, can't walk far and uses a wheelchair for distance

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 23:05

'doesn't need it?'

Thats bloody awful!

I would say complain but its alot of work and dunno if you would get anywhere with it but on principle I would even if it is a bit of an effort.

I can't really think of a situation where it was more needed

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/05/2009 23:05

That must be a nightmare.

Disenchanted3 · 08/05/2009 23:07

FWIW, without sounding all soppy I honestly do admire you. You have alot of things on your plate but yours is honestly one of the happiest families I have come across and your children are truely scrumptious. You really are fantastic.

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 23:07

she said because I have a car, I can drive him into central london (yes I really enjoyed it ) and he can walk

SparklyGothKat · 08/05/2009 23:10

you didn't see me the other day dis, I had a full breakdown (unheard of for me) DH's knees are really bad atm, and he can't move so am doing everything, Dd2 was being nasty and I went into full meltdown, I sat in front of my freezer in tears because I forgot to buy mince for dinner...
