Cuddly Dinosaur?

luv2shop · 27/04/2009 10:15

Hi, I'm after a cuddly dinosaur for DS's 4th birthday but have had no luck finding one. Does anyone know where I could get one? Thanks

OP posts:
stealthsquiggle · 27/04/2009 10:25

I got this one for a friend's little boy and it is lovely.

stealthsquiggle · 27/04/2009 10:26

(and a search for 'soft toy dinosaur' on Amazon seems to bring up quite a good selection)

princessmel · 27/04/2009 10:26

Ds has one that we got in Hamleys He loves it.

I'm sure Toys R Us would sell one.

lol

stealthsquiggle · 27/04/2009 10:33

mel we looked at that but decided that, even if we could afford it, it would end up being very disappointing as it doesn't walk - it just (AFAIK) waves it's head around and roars.

princessmel · 27/04/2009 10:34

We don't have that one!

ds has a small cuddly purple one.

That was a (not serious) suggestion for the OP.

OrmIrian · 27/04/2009 10:35

I saw loads the other day in a garden centre. All different kinds. Will try to fine the brand. DS#2 has a few so I'll have a look on the labels.

silverfrog · 27/04/2009 10:40

my dds have several form the range shown here (scroll down - there are several.

Will just try to find a better link, hang on

seeker · 27/04/2009 10:44

this is my ds's - his bed time companion for the past 7 years! He's lovely - very cuddly but with beans in his tail and feet so they feel slightly 'crunchy', just the right size and not at all 'cartoon-y'. I would love another child to have the pleasure and comfort of a Bronty!

silverfrog · 27/04/2009 10:44

they have them at the Natural History Museum shop too.

littlelamb · 27/04/2009 10:46

My dd has far too many dinosaurs. She got her first one from the Natural History museum and about 2 or 3 more from Build a Bear. She might like that as she gets to 'make' it herself
I hate the bloody place, but for birthdays I make an exception [wink}

silverfrog · 27/04/2009 10:48

also have some www.plushpaws.co.uk/dinosaur.html

can you tell my girls are dinosaur mad

can thoroughly recommned the nhm ones - good size, great price for the quality of the toys - lovely and soft, very huggable (even the T Rex! )

we have most of the range, and the girls absolutely love them

dd1's fav is the triceratops (Trudy) and dd2 love the parasaurolophus (Paulo)...

seeker · 27/04/2009 10:51

here he is again. PLEASE get him - he's lovely!

Peachy · 27/04/2009 10:53

silverfrog · 27/04/2009 10:54

dds would love that - have to find nearest Asda!

seeker · 27/04/2009 10:54
